Chicory is a great inulin with lots of health benefits.
Even though the probiotic cultures used in L reuteri fermented dairy don't actually feed off inulin, I still add a bit to my fermented dairy for the added fiber (and because I ordered it thinking I had to have it for the recipe). I chose Chicory Inulin for the other health benefits. I use a frother whisk to help make my slurry before adding it to my milk, so I get a very smooth texture. For the quantity you get, I feel it's a great value for the money and will continue to add it to my recipe. I do add a bit of heavy cream dry milk powder to my mix since the milk is what the bacteria need to feed on, and since it is going to be eating for at least 18 hours. I just add the dry milk to my slurry before adding the rest of the milk. It makes delicious, solidified, L reuteri with no separation.

Inulin in general might be hard to dissolve
**Edit** After doing research on how to dissolve inulin, it seems it is somewhat of a challenge in general. The support team at micro ingredients responded to my concerns promptly. They were kind!! Because of their customer service, I decide to give four stars!! This powder has a sweet taste (which I like) I just wish inulin was easier to dissolve. I’m glad others have had better experiences with that :) * * This product was recommended by a YouTuber I am subscribed to. They recommended this as one of the few inulin options for making super cultured dairy. I was eager to give this a try but was disappointed. I tested this powder out in both cold and hot beverages. The powder immediately clumps and is very difficult to break apart. I reached out to manufacturer’s support team. I’m hoping that this one bag was off and not the way they formulate it. I don’t see myself ordering this again. If I do and the powder dissolves easily, I will update this review.

Very happy with this prebiotic fiber

Tastes great and very healthy - love this stuff!
Great slightly sweet flavor, I use in my morning coffee with mct oil powder and have stopped using sugar in my coffee. I use about a tablespoon a day now, which is more than the recommended serving size, but I started with lower amounts in the beginning. No ill effects, just positives. Besides being organic, this inulin is from chicory root, which has a low glycemic index, which is different than the inulin derived from Jerusalem artichoke. Also add a little to my smoothies sometimes if I want to up the sweetness and add some prebiotic fiber. This is my daily go-to!! Love it.
