Easy Replacement and good performance.
This product arrived in a Bosch box and inside a plastic bag to further protect during shipping. They fit perfectly in a 2003 BMW 530i as advised. They have performed as advertised and have made for a very smooth engine performance. Replacement was easy and even motivated me to replace spark plugs as well.

Easy install. Perfect replacement.
120,000 miles on original set. Rough running engine. OBD2 Scanner pointed out the problem. Easy replacement of the set of six and spark plugs. Passed smog check, no problem.

Cured a lower mileage issue on 325i, and a breeze to install!
After doing the usual early maintenance on a 2003 325I and still not getting the best around town mileage, (17-18) decided to perform a glass of water test on the engine to see if it vibrated enough to warrant a ignition coil replacement. Sure enough, it did cause the glass of water to vibrate, even if the car ran well, so decided to replace out the ignition coils. Installation was a breeze, as it required only removing the cabin filter assy. on top of the engine cover, requiring a T30 screwdriver for cabin filter housing. Took thirty minutes to perform the r and r and the engine responded favorably, returning now between 21-24 around town, which is a noticeable improvement, along with smoother running and a bit more pep. If you notice a drop in mileage, and already have done the usual spark plug, filter replacement and still have a mileage issue, try out the ignition coil replacement, as it worked well for me. I recommend this product as a replacement of the factory coils, and it is a good price.

Don't apply too much dielectric grease
I recently installed a full set on my 2003 BMW 325i. In the end they worked out great. My old coils were starting to fail (I bought the car used and they were likely the originals) so installing these with new plugs really smoothed out my idle and overall performance. Ok, so the thing is these coils are friction fit and do not "click" when you install them. If you plan on using dielectric grease, don't get any grease on rubber boot portion of these otherwise they will keep popping up until you have cleaned it all off. I had to learn the hard way.

Fits 2012 Mini Cooper (2012) - Install with T30 Torx Driver
This is an OEM replacement ignition coil on the R56 Mini Cooper. Yes, I know Amazon says that this part is not compatible with the 2012 Mini Cooper, but that is incorrect. This part number is listed in Mini's parts database for this vehicle, and I have personally installed three of these in my Mini Cooper with excellent results. Unless you've ignored the symptoms for a long time, you probably won't even get a check engine light or a code when you need this part. The only symptom is occasional, brief hesitation under acceleration. It is a very similar feel to belts slipping in a very worn automatic transmission. All you need to install this ignition coil is a T30 Torx driver, like this one Crescent CTD30V T-30 Torx Screwdriver, Red/Black . Remove the two screws on top of the engine, to the right of the oil cap, remove the plastic cover, unplug the cable from the old ignition coil, and pull the old ignition coil straight up to remove. Install the new one lining it up and pushing down until you hear a pop, then replace the cable, plastic cover, and two screws, and you're done, and you've just saved $200 over going to the Mini dealer.
