I’m sure the compustar starters are fine to use but the customer support need work or someone smart running the company

I've installed 2 of these units now, one in my 1996 chevy k1500 and the other in my 2001 dodge 2500. Both were super easy installs with no stupid theft systems. I just had to find the right wires and tap them in. Love to use it in the winter!!!

Compatibility issues

It works good
Installed on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Wires must be wired together really good, twisted wires and electric tape i had some intermittent issues. But i ended up soldering them and every thing works great now. I only wanted my Jeep to turn off and on, so it was a very easy install. Range is good for most usage, i dont think it could do the full 3000ft .

Decent
It’s a decent product but the “3,000 foot range” is definitely a stretch. Realistically works about 300-500 feet at most. Will not start the car when parked 3 houses down on the street from inside my home which is roughly 300 feet. Drawback is you can only unlock the door with the remote once it’s remote started and can only unlock the drivers side which is very inconvenient if you have things in your hands you have to open the drivers door and unlock the car from inside. Could be much better of a design but it does the job.
