The Pelican 1040 Micro Case is fantastic! It’s tough, well-built, and gives me peace of mind whether I’m using it indoors or outdoors. The case feels extremely durable, and the waterproof design means I don’t have to worry about my valuables getting damaged. It’s the perfect size for small electronics, keys, or other essentials. The latch is secure, and the rubber lining adds extra protection. I’ve used it for camping, hiking, and even just keeping things safe at home—it’s super versatile. I had recently purchased a pocket selfie drone and wanted to get a hard case to protect my investment. There are not many cases for the drone so there were many people saying that they had made a custom 3D printed one. After pricey those out, I determined that they were a little more than I wanted to spend. So, I started looking at purchasing a ready made case that could do the job and came across this one. The measurements were perfect and the drone fit in there like a glove. The case's shell has a very rigid outer shell and will definitely protect my drone. I tested it in water and yes, it is waterproof, as they claim. However, my drone should be nowhere near water to need to rely on the feature hopefully. There is not much padding on cushioning on the inside of the case. The top of the case has a thin foam liner and bottom of the case has an even thinner foam insert. I may have to add a little foam to it. The case comes with a carabeaner to latch the case to hooks, backpacks and other items. It also has a very secure latch that secures the case closed and ensures it watertight integrity. I like this little case a lot. I can travel with my drone with less worries about it getting damaged. I am very happy that I was able to find it.

Pelican box is good stuff, so I have no need to do a serious review. I will say I have owned several pelican boxes over the years, carried not so cheap DSLR cameras and other photo gear deep into some of Tennessee and Alabama USA's caves. No issues. With that being said, the intended use for this box will not work, as my cell phone is about a 1/4 inch too long. Sucks, but I will find other uses for the box... It's a Pelican, so I know it will protect whatever I decide to put in it

6" X 3 3/4" or 15 CM X 10 CM with a perfectly fitted rubber liner and a rubber lid liner. My iPhone 7+ with a slim rubber cover slips right in with room to spare. The bottom liner is perfectly formed, fitted just so that if you ever do need to remove it, just roll the top edge towards you, working from the opposite side. The waterproof gasket feature has a channel that the rubber has an edge that fits right in and forms the seal, just so. Nice. Molle straps can be slipped through the grommet bars on either end. The included carabiner, not for climbing, will support it from your bug out bag or range bag eyelets. The optional foam insert has 1/2" pick-a-part squares, so you can customize it to virtually anything you need to. Did I mention Pelican's lifetime, cross-your-heart-hope-to-die promise to replace if found to be defective? Yea, it's got that! Pressure release valve in front too. I like mine. No, I'm not telling you what I've got in mine! I won't what you've got in yours. That's your business.

Sturdy; closes securely. Strong clip. Have used hiking and kept my phone and keys. Worked great!
