Been waiting for over a year likely more for the Cameo 4 Plus to be back in stock. It was worth the wait. I like everything about the Cameo 4 Plus. It’s the perfect size for my needs. Cutting without a mat is nice touch. The picture is of a graphic file that I had previously and brought it into the software and cut it out on metallic vinyl. Love the way the BT works it connects and stays connected, not like other brands. Read where people were having issues with the auto blade, I didn’t find that at all. It cuts well. You can control the force and depth very easily. Like the fact that I can do work on my iPad and send the project to the Cameo to be cut. It is fast and cuts far quick than my other machine. The software is very comprehensive/complete. Looking forward to completing many, many projects.

The package came in pristine condition with all of the extras inside the Silhouette Cameo box itself. It was very helpful to have all of these mats and tools. The software has a learning curve if you are inexperienced, but I think it's a great product. Definitely skewed more towards designers. My complaint so far after just receiving it is that the pull out for the roll, the cutting bar, and the lid are very flimsy. You must be careful with them. I do really like how compact this is and it's also not very heavy, which is nice. It's easy to move around the house. I did a test cut of a design I made, and it worked excellent. I used cardstock 65 lbs and the autoblade and it worked great. Very impressed.

You can say thay Cricut is like an iPhone, easy to learn and provides nice basic functionality. Silhouette is like Android, a bit harder to learn but there are way more capabilities. Silhouette is not as intuitive, but when you learn it's capabilities you'll be able to do much more. Some of the quick big wins: Superior design software Bluetooth connectivity Print and cut area is much large. Means you can have larger designs ans less waste Bigger "Plus" and "Pro" versions are a must for professionals
