Gourmet Quality for a great price!
I first heard of DeCecco pasta after watching a few YT videos by chefs comparing pasta products. Most reviewed products fell into one of two categories: the low priced brands found on supermarket shelves everywhere, or the gourmet brands imported from Italy and cost three to five times the price of the mass market brands. And then there's DeCecco pasta. Every chef gave it high marks. I thought I'd give it a try. For about a dollar more than a similar Barilla pasta, the difference is immediately noticeable. Better taste. Better texture. It's the ingredients, and it's the process. Pure duram wheat semolina that's slow-dried at low temperature by the company whose founder, Filippo De Cecco, invented the process in Italy generations ago. The same slow drying process used by those pastas imported from Italy costing seven to ten dollars per box. For about a buck more than the supermarket brands, you're getting gourmet quality.

Good product well worth the cost
This is a very good quality pasta which tastes good and was easy to prepare. It comes in handy as a side dish or an entree depending on your needs. Read the story on the back of the box about the origins of the pasta. A father & son legacy passed on through multiple generations😎

Great, when you can get it
One of the best farfalle pastas. Good texture, well shaped. The only problem is the hit and miss (mostly miss) availability on Amazon.

Flavor and tooth
It's a good pasta. I usually buy this brand. Getting too old to make my own.

It's premium quality Italian pasta. Definitely worth paying a little more for the noticeably better texture.

Perfect bow-tie pasta for every meal!
This bow-tie pasta is a delight to cook with! It holds its shape beautifully, even after boiling, and the texture is perfect—firm yet tender. The unique shape makes it ideal for catching sauces, whether creamy or tomato-based. I’ve used it for pasta salads and warm dishes, and it always impresses. The packaging is sturdy and ensures the pasta stays fresh. On the downside, it takes a few minutes longer to cook than some other brands, and the price is slightly higher. Still, the quality makes it worth it for anyone who enjoys pasta dishes that look and taste amazing!

Good texture and holds sauce well
I've been trying different bow tie pasta brands lately, and this one stood out for its texture and versatility. The pasta cooked evenly and held its shape well, making it a great choice for both creamy sauces and pasta salads. I appreciated that it didn't become mushy when cooked according to the directions. One thing I noticed is that I needed to stir it a little more during the first few minutes of cooking to keep the pieces from sticking together. I also would have preferred a slightly shorter cooking time. Overall, it was a solid pantry staple that worked well in several recipes, and I'd consider buying it again if it fits my budget.

Delicious bow ties
Pasta bow ties are delicious in cold or hot pasta dishes. For cold: mix with olives, feta, and tomatoes. Yum!
