I am not sure I understand the question. The Cassette says Awesome Mix volume 2. but there is no extra piece to it.

Is it durable enough to be played with (by a 6 yr old boy) after it's built?

I have a son with ASD and he plays with all of his Legos after they're built. If you make sure it's tight, I don't see why not but with that said, it's lego and a kid, I'd keep my instructions close by.

In general, since the instructions are mostly pictorial, can Legos be assembled without benefit of English being the first language?
