My first foray into air fryers. I had specific requirements - it had to have a small footprint on the worktop, fit into a particular space on the shelf when not in use, and have a square basket to make most efficient use of cooking area.I soon discovered when researching air fryers that there are wildly misleading claims regarding the capacity. For example, an air fryer boasting 3.5 litres capacity may have a basket virtually the same dimensions as this model, only deeper. The extra capacity is only there if you pile up food to the brim, in which case it wont cook properly.This little wonder cooks beautifully and quickly. I bought it for one person use and it suits me fine, although I can see how more basket area would be useful if I wanted to cook a whole meal all at once in it, and if I had the space.To be honest, I just wanted a way to cook sausages, fish, steaks - things that spit and make a mess in the oven when grilled, without the mess and hassle of cleaning the oven after. This air fryer is the perfect solution.I went for a decent brand in the hope that it would be well made and last long. Certainly seems well made, with simple controls, and really easy to clean. Only had it a few weeks so too soon to comment on long term reliability.UPDATE - March 2023. The machine functions well, but the non stick coating is wearing off the raised parts of the tray. Always cleaned carefully - left to soak in warm soapy water, then wiped over with cloth.

I bought this in January and I’m delighted with it. Wish I’d had it sooner. Easy to use and does everything anyone would expect. I use it almost every day.. it looks neat but hold plenty for two. Well worth the money.

Like everything but the price

Why does Amazon continue to import these from US despite complaints about the plug being wrong. One cannot use an adaptor / transformer therefore it is of absolutely no use in the UK and the buyer has the hassle of having to return it.

This airfryer had a US plug NOT suitable for UK use. Have returned yet no refund

The one delivered to me is with a US adapter. I spent another GBP30 to get a converter but the air-flyer does not work in any one function. So i needed to return it. Waste of time.

Totally useless in the UK - as per the photo, it is supplied with a USA plug and the manual clearly states it runs on 120V. The UK uses 240V so it is incompatible with the electricity supply in this country.
