Five Stars
Good model. Painting instructions could a bit more clear. But very happy with the kit.

Very good quality kit
This is a highly detailed kit for 1/48 scale, and larger than I expected. Shipping was quick.

Typical Kitty-Hawk kit.
The kit is only good as far as subject and some detail. The fit was not great. Plenty of gaps and flash. It's also ridiculous they didn't provide the APU detail. The box and kit show and are designed with all doors open... So why the carp are the flaps and stabilizers molded in the up positions. I only buy KH for the unique subject matters.

Horrible Model Kit
received "version 2" of this kit. it was the worst fitting kit I've put together. got half way done and gave up because top half and bottom half of the plane wasn't even close to lining up. multiple parts don't fit well together, if at all. I bought this back when it was $75 and just got around to starting it a few weeks ago. I'm not a novice modeler, but this was absolutely horrible and I packed it up back in the box and put it in my closet. nothing good to say about this kit other than the color painting instructions. I'll steer clear of kitty hawk model kits from here on out. Would like to know if there is a refund available for this.

NOT FOR BEGINNERS, VERY CHALLENGING!
This model was quite the challenge to put together I must say! It took me over a month to complete, working on it 3-4 hours a day. This model has been the hardest by far for me - and I consider myself a well-seasoned modeller! There were parts that just didn't seem to fit quite right, and I had to do some creative cutting, filing, puttying, and sanding to get them to match up (the elevators where a b****! The underneath panels did not fit into both elevators and I had to cut-n-puddy to get them in.1. The most challenging assembly was connecting the nose fuselage with the cockpit. It just wouldn't come together and I had to do some cutting off of the front of the pilot's instrument panel to get the cockpit to fit into the nose. 2. Then I had problems attaching the nose section into the main fuselage. Parts were just not lining up! It drove me crazy! I had to glue-n-clamp with 6 (yes, six!) clamps to get it to stay put.3. The engine-to-turbofan axle did not mesh up and I gave up trying to get the axle mounted to the turbofan and decided to just leave it loose.4. The main landing gear wheels kept falling off because the axle pins are too small and can't take the weight of the aircraft. I would recommend making the axles bigger on all three landing gear.5. The main fuselage is a bit flimsy in my opinion, (too thin) and made it difficult to match up the main bombays and wheel bays. This took some bit of clamping to get together too.6. The model came with photo-etch decals, but had no instructions on how (or exactly where) to place most of them. (First time I had these and they were impossible to adhere - also, some of them are so small and delicate and you have to bend them (canopy rails?) then put them in place somehow?!).7. All-in-all, definitely not a beginner's model and I would say more of an "advanced" and very challenging one! I had to have a ton of patience on this one and you will too if you get it!
