Arrow T25 Heavy Duty Staple Gun for Low Voltage Cables and Wires up to 1/4-Inch Diameter - Silver

I needed a way to attach some decorative LED edison light strings to ceiling joices. My first attempt, I used a traditional Arrow staple gun with all metal staples. This resulted in several instances of me peircing the cable with misfired staples. I decided that traditional metal staples were not the ideal solution, and then I stumbled upon this staple gun. I painstakingly removed and replaced all the metal staples with these staples and I was quite happy I did. The gun was easy to use, didn't jam once, and I wasted exactly 1 staple through the whole ordeal. My only gripe is that, even the smallest size staples were still far too large for the small diameter cable for something like string lights or christmas lights. This means that you need to pull the string of lights tight because the actual staple is not going to hold the string firm like a traditional staple would. This stapler and the staples that fit appear to be better designed for rounded cables and NOT for flat cables. That doesn't mean it won't work, it just means there will be some play in the cable. I'm not sure how I've gone so long without owning one of these. It's worth the investment, even for the average homeowner who occasionally has to run a cable, temporary or permanent.

Picked this up just intending to use it for a job running a bunch of ethernet cable and was pleasantly surprised at all of the other things I can attach with it. It's great for coax cables as well, outdoor Cat6 with the heavy insulation, even 14ga power cables and anything else in that size range. Staples get a good grip when you get them driven in good, the only downside is that the big clunky nose on it makes it hard to stick a cable in some of those tight places you want to hide cables. Not a replacement for the T25, they both have their distinct uses and if you run a lot of cable you should probably own both.

I've had Arrow T18, T25 T50 ant T75 staplers over the last 40 years. I loaned my T25 out a few years ago and the person and my stapler evaporated. I bought this T25 to install fiberglass insulation in some new construction... a friend added a bedroom to his house. We completed the installation over a weekend. The following weekend my car was broken into and my tool bag stolen, and this staple gun was in it. It was nice while it lasted.

always use arrow staple guns for my job, they are the best. Only go faulty when you drop them on the floor......excellent

I have had no problems with this gun. Works great on most wood types.
