What material is the cooking surface made of and how is that verified? There are so many spelling errors in the marketing materials.

I want to know this too. The info in the box was so badly written, I'm not sure I can trust the information they claim. No PFOAs but how can that be confirmed? I don't wanna risk chemicals in my family's food.

I would think so, its a normal pan. I wouldn't use it if it would have contact with the fire, since it would blacken the bottom of the pan. Also handle is easily detachable to prevent burning the handle.

How to season this pan before first use to keep it non-stick?

Its a non stick pan so no need to season it.
