Hello. This OWC Thunderbolt Dock has its own dedicated power supply and the host charges macs connected. You will not need to connect a MagSafe to this unit for charging.

Where is the hdmi port?

Hello. This OWC Thunderbolt Dock does not have an HDMI port. You can run displays off the thunderbolt ports on the back of the unit with a direct thunderbolt connection or an adapter like a USB-C to HDMI.

You would want to look at the OWC USB-C to Dual HDMI 4K Display Adapter with DISPLAYLINK for Apple M1 Mac or Any Mac or PC with USB-C or Thunderbolt. That product uses a driver to get around the single display restriction.
