High loss at VHF and above
They look good enough but when I tested at power with 60W at 1296MHz into a dummy load I got high SWR of 2.0 on one and 1.7 on the 2nd. Both connectors heated up. Swapped them out with some old ones I had and SWR back to 1.1 and no heating.Tested at 144MHz and 400W. Little measured loss as expected (1/10 the frequency) but still they heated up at 7x the power level. Again, using my old connectors they did not heat up. I had bought another pair of these much earlier but did not test them, now I need to figure out where I put them, hopefully only in a HF application, too much loss in VHF+ usage.
