worth the little extra
Oh man. I was hesitant to get these closed barrel connectors, but they make a huge difference. Build quality alone is much better than even high quality crimp connectors. if you never plan to remove these pins.. crimp would be a fine, if you plan to remove them.. closed barrel is way. it is the only way I have found a reliable way to get them out of the circular connectors and this vendor delivers good quality.

Pricey but excellent
High price and high quality. To get a professional job done with Deutsch you really need these closed barrel pins and the four way crimper; these are excellent; the open barrel and ordinary crimper - forget it.

Had a connector go pad on my truck, Ford wanted $186 for the make and female with pins. I invested in this kit, crimps and heavy duty bullet connectors. Not only did I repair the 8 pin connector, I have multiple connectors left over for future projects. This was definitely a great buy, high quality. Very satisfied!!
