Can you program the shift indicator rpm, such as 5500 rpm?

yes you can by first moving the button up or down to get to the RPM mode, then go w/button up or down for desired RPM

Will this work on a 2005 Chevy duramax diesel? And will it read boost pressure? I’m having trouble finding one of these that will.

NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SETUP IN GPS MODE

If you intend to use this in GPS mode don't bother, No instructions covering GPS setup, no technical support from Amazon, no ability to talk to the manufacturer to resolve the issue. It continually powers down after a few minutes. According to other sites you have to power it via a usb on the underside of the unit which means unless you drill a hole in the top of your dashboard, it wont sit flush. Good design. Tried powering from the usb that didn't resolve the issue. I have previously bought the same unit which I installed on another car working off the OBD port and its perfect.
