Be prepared to sharp the blades, the come kind of sharp but not ready for finish work. Also the finish of the product could be better.

I am a master Carpenter and purchased this model, and its was priced well and packaged decent but my biggest disappointment was the knife edges. They are far from well sharpened or really very hardened, but you can buy replacements if need be in future. I also do not understand the measurement ticks on one side of blades, they have no corresponding way to measure anything, so just useless. also not as effortless as video shows, take small incremental passes to desired depth and sharpen those blades first!!

The idea is great but it's poorly executed. Very low quality product. The blades especially. Just like all the other negative reviews mentioned, it does leave red paint on your project. Easy to remove with a little sanding. But what harder to deal with are gouges that the tool leaves on the surface. I had to literally go all the way back to 120 grit and work my way up to 240 to remove all the gouges and scratches. I tried it out as soon as it arrived. I returned it the very next day.

The media could not be loaded.  I was looking for a good edge planer where I found this one, really nice design and a good price and decided to give this one a try. I was not disappointed; this one is really nice. First off, very well designed and it works really well. Plenty of very well-made bits and very easy to change them out too. Secondly, love the built-in level that helps in gaining level for planing. Lastly, very comfortable to use too. No cons, really works great for me, where I am very happy with the purchase.
