This clock is great! So easy to see. I had lost my setting instructions and the seller replied to my email on the same day and sent me the instructions! When my cable box no longer showed the time, I purchased this little clock to sit on top of my cable box. Works perfectly! Great clock, great price and GREAT SELLER!

Just as previous reviewers have said, this little clock is great for making the time available, in the same place you're used to seeing it, when your new cable box arrives without a clock. The "dimmer" is kind of a joke because there's very little difference between low and high. However, the numerals are clearly visible from across the room and that is what I needed.

This little clock was so easy to "program" and has some of the more popular features. Very intuitive. ! The instructions are brief and very clear. I got the soft metallic gold tone and am very happy with the subtle color.. The face has red numbers, but the screen is not red. It looks like that until it lights up. There is even a choice of how bright you want it. The alarm turns off with a simple light touch on the top. And it has auto-set for the next morning (unless you turn it off- also simple). The alarm sound is rather high pitched, compared to what I've been used to. It sort of annoys you awake because you wonder what that disturbance is. It is not the kind that gives you an instant jolt. The clock is very light weight, but seems too big to use as a travel clock. You could; but most people would just use their cell phones to wake up while traveling. I'm really happy with this pretty little tailored clock!

I prefer 24 hour clocks but that part of this one didn't work. Pressing the Hour button did not change from 12 to 24 hours. That being said, the other features of the clock work fine. I can live with 12 hour settings so I have no compaints. I wrote this review for those who want the 24 hour setting. The clock you receive may allow the change from 12 hours or it may not. I've not seen anything about that function in the other reviews. If 24 hours is your preference and it doesnt work return the clock and order another one. You may get lucky and get one that works.

This little desk clock by ChaoRong works perfectly fine for me as a bedroom clock. But, it could work well almost anywhere indoors--even mounted to a wall since no electrical cord is needed. Instead, it is powered by four AA-size alkaline batteries. And that is something I look for in small electronic devices because that size battery is ideal--lower cost per cell for more power compared to all other alkaline battery sizes.

The LED display was too dim during daylight hours so I returned it.

Recently purchased two of these. One, because I wanted a "battery only" LED clock that I can place and take anywhere. Perfect for travel. The red LED's are the best for night time - not overly bright like blue LED's are, and the brightness is adjustable with a slide switch on the back. They are the perfect size for placing on your nightstand (mine stand is small anyway, so it's just right for me). 5" wide and 2.5" tall. It's a "no frills" clock, and because it's battery operated it will keep the time no matter if the electricity is out or not. I don't plan on using it as an alarm (my cell phone is better for this). The second one I purchased for my fleet vehicle, but in the outside light the LED panel becomes "washed out" and is difficult to see the time. Still much better than the clock in the vehicle and is better at night. With hook-and-loop, I attached it to the dash to keep the time "in my face" so I stay on-time where ever I go. Hope these last. May keep searching for a better clock for the vehicle.

Great little clock I thought to replace the one that used to be on my cable tv box but after having it for less than a month, one of the digits is partially out and there is a bright light. I've changed the batteries thinking it was that but no. All the videos on fixing this kind of thing say to just throw away the clock if changing the batteries and cleaning the contacts doesn't fix it. So disappointed.Update 4/16/19 - I am changing my review to 5 star - the very concerned seller sent me another clock which seems to be working fine to replace the one that one of the number went out. Very professional and appreciated.

The clock is dim even with the brightness set to the top setting, which makes the clock very difficult to see in daylight. The display has a red filter over it, so the digits are light red on a red background. Photos make it look better than it is, but even so it is nothing like the product photos. Battery compartment is also difficult to open and will probably not last long. I didn't think the alarm beep was very loud.On the plus side it is easy to operate and might suit a situation where is only needs to be used in the dark.

Hi I purchased this little clock for use in my caravan. If I wake up in the night I do like to know the time. For this purpose the clock is excellent. The display is red and is not obtrusive and doesn't keep me or my wife awake.I also like the fact that you van read the clock time during the day. Although there is a switch to raise or lower the brightness I have to say that it is not very effective, and during the day it can seem quite dim.That is the reason for me removing one star.Another positive is that the batteries 4xAA are supposed to last for a year. I can not comment as I've only just purchased the clock.In conclusion, the clock does what I purchased it for so I'm happy, in fact I bought another one to put under my TV, so during the evening when I'm viewing a good film or TV program I can see the time even in low light conditions.

It does just what I needed it to. The setting up isn't difficult, but I am quite well versed in such. The instructions are reasonably clear, but I imagine the translation is where any confusion arises.In daylight the numbers aren't over bright, but nighttime is just fine. I would struggle with most clocks without my glasses on, so waking up half way through the night, I don't want to have to put specs on to tell the time! This item fulfils my requirements and the alarm is reasonable too - no earth shattering noises, just a gradual double bleep.

Totally useless, as the numbers are barely visible. Red on red... even on the brightest setting. I thought there was a protector on the screen at first, but no. Nothing. It’s just the way it is. The numbers only appear in a dark room. I should have read previous comments saying the same. No use at all for me. I will need to buy another one.
