My favorite candles
These candles are my favorite. They smell like beeswax, which is subtle and natural. They burn for a long time if you follow the directions to cut the wick before lighting. I was originally sent an empty box by Amazon but they fixed it and sent me a full box. In that process I contacted the company and they offered to fix the problem. Their customer service was fast and really helpful. This is a great company and they have great products.

Beautiful in storm lanterns!
I've been a very happy customer with Bluecorn tapers and Bluecorn tea lights in the past, so I decided to buy these Bluecorn votives to use in a pair of fancy storm lanterns. They were just as lovely as the other Bluecorn candles - the scent of real beeswax is so nice! I can't say mine lasted 12 hours but our house is draughty so that might have reduced burning time. Note that these votives don't come with metal cups but I saved a few metal cups from my Bluecorn tea lights and was very pleased to find that the votives fit perfectly in the metal cups from the tea lights. This meant that there was no wax residue to clean out of the storm lanterns - perfect!

Very Nice!
Compared to some other votive-sized beeswax candles I've purchased, these burn very clean - I can hold my face over the candle (at a safe distance!) and smell only the beeswax, not the wick! Very satisfied and will purchase from them again. To anyone who isn't getting a full 15 hours, make sure you're burning in a container only slightly larger then the candle. Personally, I haven't found a glass container that doesn't crack eventually, so I use a metal one. By hour 10 the candle is almost completely liquid beeswax in the container, but continues to burn normally at the wick for the full 15 (provided there is no breeze whipping at the flame!). If I'm burning the candle "all-at-once" the flame will usually get higher then I need it to be, and then I will put it out, let the wax congeal and trim the wick back to 1/4 inch, just to stretch the wax out to the longest burn possible. But mostly I burn over two days (6 to 8 hours a night), so just a quick pinch off the old burnt end of the wick before I relight the candle I started the day before and I'm good to go. Enjoy!

These work wonderfully to eliminate cooking odor
I've used the blue "odor killer" candles from BB&B for years and they work OK. But you can't get them any more. I had only one left so, after reading reviews, decided to try these beeswax candles. Last night my DH microwaved popcorn which always smells "burned" to me. Sure enough, this time was no exception. So I lit one of these in the kitchen and when I came back about 45 minutes later the burned popcorn smell was completely GONE! This morning the smell of cooked bacon was lingering from breakfast. Again - gone in about half an hour. And the candle doesn't replace one smell with another. They are almost entirely odorless. Further, because they are so pure, they are smokeless and burn so clean they'll last a looooong time. Highly recommend!

Unsatisfactory in Himalayan salt holder
I bought these to use in my Himalayan salt votive candleholder. At first I just plopped them in and burned over three or four evenings. But there was wax left in the bottom after the wick was gone. In order to get it out, I put the holder in the freezer, which worked great except it caused condensation and some salt melted off. Then I put a plastic cup left over from a tea light into the holder and set the candle into that. But I had the same problem with leftover wax on the sides and bottom of the holder. (I should say that the holder is the correct tight fit for the candle.) So I bought some glass votive holders for these candles (Pro Tip: put ½ teaspoon of water in the bottom. Makes it easy to get excess wax out—not possible with a salt holder.). I also got some tea lights in plastic cups from this manufacturer to use in my salt holder. Those work great.

Seem to burn cleaner than other natural beeswax votives.
I've bought at least two prominent brands of natural, raw beeswax votive candles from Amazon, and from the descriptions on Amazon I could not discern a difference--they seemed identical, including price. But having burned both now, I think these Blue Corn ones burn cleaner. That's because last night as the other brand votive was burning out, a significant amount of black smoke was coming from it. I'd burned it entirely according to instructions. I've never noticed this from the Blue Corn beeswax votives. My guess is that the slight filtering that Blue Corn says they do to their beeswax may remove impurities that could cause smoking. I'll pay attention to how this new box of Blue Corn votives burns, and if it gives off smoke I'll update this review. O yes, I am intentionally omitting the other brand's name because I don't want to affect their business, but if you have looked at beeswax votives on Amazon, it shouldn't be hard to figure out.

Good quality but very expensive!
These nice candles are made in the US. They work very well, but for the price I would consider them to be expensive. They do not last very long, so you have to spend a lot every month to keep up your supply. If you have got the money, I would buy them. If you do not, I will go ahead with the cheaper option.

Beautiful, with Lovely Honey Smell
Beautiful natural beeswax color with a lovely smell. The only thing I'll note is that, although it doesn't say so on the product description, in the package there was a warning that these candles are designed to melt and turn liquid like votive candles do and should be burned in a container. However, I've been using them for short burns and so far they have not actually melted and turned liquid (this is not a complaint, just an observation that you may want to get a votive holder if you don't already have one if you're planning on burning these candles for long periods of time, but for short periods, e.g., for meditation sessions, it's probably unnecessary).
