They have sealed ball bearings-thus the strength of 20 kilonewtons. Google them and they have gotten great reviews. I got them for my trre service business initially and have since ordered more.

Could this be used for a backyard zipline?

The pulley is meant for use with larger diameter rope than typically used for a backyard zip line. Try searching zip line trolley.

Can I use this with 6 mm cord?

Yes, but your maximum weight rating will be reduced. Likely borderline for life support at this cord diameter. (assuming the cord if fully rated for use for prusiks, knee ascenders, etc. Would be great for hoisting a row boat of canoe or similar application.
