A bit thin
I bought these because my usual brand was not available. They work well but I find them a little thin. My bad as I should have picked something thicker. They DO work well and keep the seal. Yes, I recommend.

I only buy Avid Armor bags
Avid Armor are the only vacuum sealer bags that I purchase for our chamber vac sealer. I don’t even have to wonder if the bag is going to seal correctly as I’ve been using Avid Armor for many years without any fails. I used generic rolls of bags previously and experienced numerous fails but NONE with the Avid Armor bags. If you want less worry about what you’ve packaged, BUY THESE!

HUGE Disappointment With My 2nd Purchase of bags!
I've purchased these bags twice now. My first batch was amazing! My second batch was absolute trash. I immediately noticed the bags felt different in texture and flexability. The first batch felt soft and plyable, the second batch felt like hard plastic and stiff. I made 52 bags of dog food. I would say at least 45 of them puffed up. The only ones that didn't where the bags on the bottom of the stack in the freezer and stayed flat due to the weight on top of them. I reached out to Avid Armor by email, I recieved a response back with some tips to help avoid the issue (which I already do due to the type of food I'm storing) and a promise to resolve the issue, even if the bags needed to be replaced. It's been a month and four emails later with no response or resolution. In my opinion customer service is very poor as all you can do is leave a voicemail in hopes you get a return call, which I never did or send an email that now seems to be going unnoticed. Since I use these bags to seal and freeze my homemade dog food ot is vital that they work as intended to preservethe food. The stored bags had freezer burn, were puffed and the food smelled spoiled/rotten. It was making my babies sick. That was $200 worth of food down the drain. Now I'm left trying to figure out if another brand of bags will work with this brand chamber sealer. I can't afford another $200 worth of food to go down the drain. I store these bags at my elderly parents home in the deep freezer. My mom opened the freezer one day and all the bags came tumbling out. It missed her foot by about an inch. This situation has become a health issue and a danger at this point. I'm just very disappointed in Avid Armor's handling of the situation. I was in love with my chamber sealer and now I'm terrified of what's to come after I make another batch of food.
