Easy, inexpensive way to Improve the sound quality of a Fender Mustang LT25
Works great as a replacement for the stock speaker in a Fender Mustang LT25 Amp.Sound quality There's a bit more bite in the highends and the midtones and bass are cleaner and fuller.Installation: Swapping the speakers takes about fifteen minutes max, including replacing the connecter on the ground side of the cable with a larger one.Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver and/powered driveror electric drill, wire stripper/ crimper, larger width connector, a pencil or sharpie. Four (4) one-inch wood screws.Difficulty and mechanical ability: low.Because the motherboard o speaker cable in the Fender (at least in mine) wasn't quite long enough to directly accommodate the wider spacing of the terminals on the speaker, I needed to rotate the speaker about 20 to 30 degrees clockwise to accommodate the cable length. Because the holes in the frame of the speaker did not now line up with the original screw holes I needed the wood screws and power driver as the original Fender screws are flat tipped.Because this Simple mod for the Mustang LT25 is increasingly popular, It would be great if Celestion sold a bundle of the TF80i8 and a longer replacement wiring harness.Value for Money: High!
