Great for guitar for fretwork
I love using this on guitar for Work for polishing frets. The nice thing about bronze it is non-ferrous and will not be attracted to the guitar pick ups. This is the only thing I will use.

Brass Wool
Expensive but works well. We used it to plug a couple small holes in RV where potential critters could get in. Best part is they don’t rust.

Do not use on a chequered rifle stock
The bronze wool disintegrates instantly into thousands of tiny fragments which stick in the chequering on my rifle stock and are proving extremely dificult to remove, mainly due to trying to remove each of the thousands of individual pieces one by one with a cocktail stick. Edit: I forgot to update. I removed the bronze wool fragments from the chequering by using a copper wire brush and naptha (Zippo Lighter Fluid) which not only removed the wool fragments but also 40 years of ingrained grease/oil/dirt/wax without any damage to the chequering. Note using the copper wire brush on different rifle stocks may not have the same excellent results and could damage them so use with care and also make sure it's a copper wire brush and not a steel one coated with copper.

My new favorite tool.
I use this stuff on everything now. Doesn't leave iron particles like steel wool so it won't cause surface rust contamination, and it won't scratch steel. It's slightly less durable than steel wool.

Excellent produit 👌
Très bon pour effacer trace de rouille de surface sur arme à feu sans graffigné encore meilleur en ajoutant de l'huile 👌
