It does give hair a thicker look as advertised, mostly by giving it some hold and the ability to stand up instead of lying flat, especially if you have straight hair. It’s not greasy, dries almost immediately, and has almost no smell (contrary to some reviews). In my experience, it’s natural “science-backed ingredients”—saw palmetto, green tea, caffeine—don’t do anything for hair growth and it’s not clear they do anything to prevent further loss either, but it doesn’t advertise it does anything other than giving hair a thicker look, hence the five stars for “works as advertised”. The ingredients are to my knowledge “scientifically suspected “ to have some effect. For just the thickening function, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but I also need to only use a tiny bit each time, so it lasts a good year for me with daily-once use. Applying more doesn’t seem to do anything more useful.

By far the worst pomade I have ever used. It leaves your hair dull and dry with absolutely no hold at all. The only reason I used it for so long is because of the price and the hope that the claims to make hair fuller, it did none of that. My hair in fact looks worse and thinner because of it. It makes my hair so dry, thin and stringy I can’t believe they sell this stuff. The pomade is a light cream that has the consistency of a face moisturizer just by the feel you know it will have no effect on your hair.
