This thing is super cool
I put this together pretty easily. And am super satisfied with how it runs. It is a great project for price and if you're trying to work with PWM signals / a drivable device this is perfect. Cons: the directions could use some work but it wasn't too difficult to figure out some parts. Pros: when you're done you have sturdy tank body that is surprisingly agile.

Great robotics or RC tank chassis
While the printed instructions included in the kit are vague, the website offers a very good tutorial and terrific instructions. Very impressive and performing tank chassis when fully built. The shock absorbing suspension is simple and should allow a load capacity of 5-7lbs and allow for sufficient articulated movement.

Missing parts
Although build quality seems ok, kit was completely missing crucial parts (springs nuts, bolts). Disappointed that I could not build the kit and wasted my money. I doubt the seller will send the required parts. Would not recommend this kit from this seller.

It's okay for the money but was missing the 2mm axle screws.
Don't expect thorough instructions. I had to stop and think it through a couple times but I got the chassis assembled in about 2 hrs. It did not include the 2mm retainer screws needed to keep the wheels on the axle, so consider ordering a set (10 total). They'll need to have a wide head or washers. Other than the missing screws, I was pleasantly surprised that everything went together well. As far as durability, I think the frame is a bit on the flimsy side - I plan to add some bracing to keep the track frames rigid. The tracks are some kind of plastic/ABS and they are decently strong, although time will tell if they hold up, and they have zero traction on smooth floors. It is not fast at all but it has reasonable torque. The spring suspension is very firm - unless you have a heavy payload, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

good design, poor execution
Kit was missing two critical parts. I have been in contact with the seller who says that they will send parts 'soon.' Additionally 3 of the 10 of the axel shafts were over-bored causing the machine screws required to retain them to strip the threads. I was able to re-bore/re-thread the shafts and use larger screws to solve the problem. Overall I like the design and think it will meet my needs once I cure the manufacturing/packaging defects. Sell has been prompt to respond, but as of this time has not informed me that parts have been shipped. We will see.

Okay, received with broken motor
We will see how seller handles the motor situation. Other than that the kit seems alright.

Missing critical parts
I can get over the damaged parts or the missing screws that I can locally source but this becomes completely useless when critical machines parts are omitted from the kit. Save your money and avoid this money pit.

Why do hobbie manufactures take advantage of us?
If a company sells you something that requires 100% assemble, the least they can do is provide decent instructions. the least they can do is separate the parts and number them. I received a box with 1000 parts, all tossed in a bag that was ripped, there was no way I was going to do there job and attempt to sort. The instructions, well what instructions, they showed you a picture. I decided to not even attempt this, I have more valuable things to do. If the maker of this product reads this, shame on you, seriously shame on you, that was the laziest worst job i have ever seen providing a product.
