This rice flour is perfect for my sourdough because it prevents the dough from sticking to my proofing cloths and from surfaces like counter tops and bowls - much better than regular flour. It’s also great for the top dusting of the dough to make designs in and I also really appreciate the small, convenient package since a little goes a long way and I won’t be left with a large bag. While I mainly use it for my sourdough-it’s also suitable for gluten free recipes, making it a versatile pantry staple.Great quality and exactly what I needed for sourdough. A must use flour for forming and shaping your sourdough
Bob's Red Mill rice flour is a staple in my sourdough baking. I spread it on my surface when I form and shape my dough because it doesn't contain any gluten therefore won't fuse with your wet, sticky dough. The dough slides right off the counter, and if you sprinkle it on top before you bake your dough it'll leave a beautiful white powdery finish on your bread.
