Twin Waves - Dual algortithmic VCO/LFO/Random generator

The most practical dual digital oscillator I've ever used. I love the LFO modes and the Sync feature, very forward thinking.

A remarkable module of the highest quality concept, design, and build quality. I’m tempted to by another one.

Purchased these based on Muffwiggler forums.Klavis/Eric has great module designs, but ALL of my orders had QC issues with the panels and/or tuning stability and/or firmware not displaying (per online Klavis documentation). Mainly, I was saddened to have never heard back from my messages to him on June 1st, July 15th or August 31. :(So, if you get a properly functioning module without paint defects, you'll be getting a great module.***AS OF Sept. 05, 2017 (and out since Jul 17, 2017), THE CURRENT FIRMWARE IS 1.16. THIS ADDS (AMONG OTHER THINGS) A NEW CV MODE CALLED "BZX FM" (Bipolar thru-zero crossing FM)***

Versatile module for its size. Self-patchable and effective for minimal skiffs. Interesting VCO/LFO hybrid module.

Amazing power in a small module. Klavis killed it with this module!

I am so pleased with this oscillator; it has become the focal point of my synth. Although this is obviously a digital oscillator, some of the settings are wonderfully analog-like, for example the stacked Detuned sawtooths. Awesome! There are of course some wave shapes that really can only be done digitally, such as additive synthesis. Like all of the shapes, this one can be manipulated by a parameter CV input. In this case you can control how the Harmonics are constituted dynamically. Despite the awesome flexibility of the oscillator, controlling it is very quick and simple thanks to the ingenious arrangement of controls. You may need the user guide handy for the first couple of days though. The unit didn't have the latest firmware in it, but updating it from my phone was very quick and simple. And there are TWO of these beauties in just 8hp. The linear CV input then allows you to do true thru zero FM. And if all that wasn't enough, one of the pair can be configured as a VCA or LFO.
