Legigo 10Pack Organic Coco Coir Brick for Plants, Natural Coconut Coir Soil

I decided to mix my own seed starting blend using coco coir, perlite, and vermiculite instead of buying a pre-made bag, and it turned out great. The coco coir fluffed up nicely after hydrating and broke apart easily. It has a clean, earthy feel and makes a great base. Once I blended in perlite and vermiculite, the texture was exactly what I was going for. Light, airy, and easy to work with. The perlite adds drainage and keeps the mix from compacting, while the vermiculite helps hold just enough moisture so the trays do not dry out too quickly. When you grab a handful, it holds together slightly but falls apart easily. That is perfect for delicate seedlings that need airflow around their roots. I filled multiple seed trays with this mix and it distributes evenly without clumping. It feels balanced and professional grade, but made at home. If you like having control over your soil inputs and want something tailored for seed starting, this combination works really well.

Good materials that's why I bought it again this week and I bought it 2 months ago. It keeps soil moist longer. Not as good as peat moss but it works I mixed with mulch, wood chips and native soil.

Love love love. Great price for what you get. Plus it makes soooo much. I can bag the extra and store it for when I need more. Definitely worth it.

The coir part is decent. There were a few pieces of plastic ribbon stuff. When I went to soak and rinse I was surprised by the sand content. If you skim the coco coir off the top of the water and reach down into the bucket there was maybe 3 tablespoons of beach sand in a brick. No soil and pretty darn clean, great stuff. But if you’re avoiding sand in a potting mix make sure to let it settle out onto the bottom in water. I include it to hold more moisture but make sure to agitate the sand to loosen any salt that might be trapped.

This is the first time I've bought coco coir. I've been mixing it into the soil for all my potted plants. It seems very useful as a soil amendment. It helps hold moisture and keeps soil from turning into a hard block, which improves aeration to the roots. My plants seem to be thriving. I think this is much more environmentally sound than peat and it's a good substitute. The amount in this pack has lasted for many, many potted plants and I still have a few blocks left.

No cheap, but worth it if you have soil that needs amending. These blocks expanded a lot and mixing them with my clay soil and some purchased garden soil produced a really good mix that drains well and supported the growth of the plants I put in this Spring.

My seeding efforts is in full effect. I had a left over brick from last year and ordered 5 bricks of Egigo Coconut Coir for my first phase of planting. I ran out and this time I increase it to 10 bricks. I have to say that it did not appear to be the same product. This batch was very stringy, did not seem to absorb water as efficiently and was a little dirty. I found a small metallic star in the coir once it expanded and other bits of materials. The bricks seem smaller and the package, says1.4 LB. So, while I got most of my seedlings replanted, I just don't feel this was the best product. I don't think I would recommend it. Update: Almost all of the seedlings planted in this medium is dead or dying. The soil was contaminated by paper, husks and metallic items. There are mold, mushrooms and muck on the top of the coconut Coir soil. I would not recommend this product and would give it a 1 star if I could change it. They asked if I wanted a refund when I reported the trash in the soil. I said yes but I have not received a refund. Pay the few extra dollars for the better product. Notice that the plants in the better soil is still alive and growing. You get what you pay for.

Great product. About the same price as my local pet store but I buy it online so I don’t have to carry it home as it is quite heavy. You get a lot for your money once you put it with water. My ball pythons do very well with it

Great dirt for my African land snail…Gary, who is 22years old, ( on the 29th July actually) , unbelievable I know but true. So this dirt is the best.only the best for the ancient one.

I used them for autoflowers for outdoors its a great product if your not looking for strong thc and just rather more of a natural taste.
