Optimizing Ace King: The Right Strategy For Playing Poker's Most Complex Starting Hand

When you win 1 hand OOP with AKs, this book will have paid for itself
lots of great content, and while I think it would be really hard to create and organize such content structured around a single hand (well, really 2 hands as there are a lot of consideration given to the difference between AKo and AKs), the authors have done a pretty job job of creating linear content. The book was obviously created with the intention of color printing, and I do not regret not buying the color ebook, but really wish there was a better printing of this book.

All graphs reference color's but the book is black/white
A descent book and well written. All graphs reference color's but the book is black/white which makes the explanations pointless. Hence the 3 star

James is a genius.
Not only is Sweeney a master strategist, but he explains complex concepts in plain English. His material is easy to grasp and digest. I have followed him for some time and he has yet to disappoint me. I am a live cash player and he offers me more useful material than the typical tournament/online coaches. Dollar for dollar, I feel that my study budget is better spent on his works. If you can't learn to win with Splitsuit, try pinochle.

Decent Content But Better Books Out There
The book had some decent information but it kept referencing content from solvers and third party software applications. Seemed like the book was a set up to get you to spend more money on other platforms and/or coaching.

Must have for poker library.
One of the most thorough books written on AK that have many concepts explained that are applicable to other hands as well.
