TinyTV DIY Kit - White

Ever watch one of those sci-fi movies where they shrink people down and suddenly a breadcrumb is the size of a Volkswagen? Well, folks, welcome to my world! But instead of breadcrumbs, we've got TVs! Now, I'm a man of simple tastes. Give me a recliner, a remote, and an endless supply of '80s TV reruns, and I am as content as a clam at high tide. But one day, I found myself yearning for something more, something that could blend my nostalgia with a pinch of cutting-edge technology. And there it was - The Tiny TV Kit. I ordered it expecting some DIY version of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, but this little beauty is no joke. Let me tell you, building it was easier than assembling an IKEA flat-pack...and with far fewer leftover pieces! All it required was a dash of enthusiasm, a sprinkle of time, and voila! I was holding in my hand a fully functional, Lilliputian-sized television. I took a mini SD card, loaded it up with The A-Team, Knight Rider, and a dash of MacGyver (for good measure), and I was ready to roll. The image quality? Absolutely smashing! Like watching a cinematic masterpiece on the world's smallest IMAX screen. I started carrying this mini marvel around with me. The supermarket, the bus, my dentist's waiting room...and boy, it's like walking a talking, schnauzer-sized dinosaur on a leash. Everyone wants to know what it is, where I got it from, and if they can touch it. Suddenly, I'm the most popular guy in town! Everywhere I go, I'm like, "Yes, this IS a TV. Yes, it does fit into my hand. Yes, that IS Magnum P.I. playing on the screen. Yes, you can touch it, but remember - handle with care. It might be small, but it's feisty." What's not to love about the Tiny TV Kit? It's fun-sized entertainment in high definition! I'll tell you one thing, it has all the charm of a Chihuahua, with none of the incessant yapping. Overall, if you're a fan of vintage shows, conversation starters, or simply stuff that's ridiculously tiny yet impressively functional, this is the gadget for you. No, it won't turn you into Rick Moranis in a lab coat, but it'll definitely make you the coolest cat in your neighborhood. A resounding 5 stars for this pocket-sized piece of televisionary (yes, I made that word up) genius. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a date with mini Alf in outer space!

youtubeでのレビュー動画を見て、気になって購入。 ただはめ込むだけで完成しますが、割とキツめというか、一部ハマらなかったので少し削ったり。 無理にはめようとすると、液晶割りそうだったし、この手の作業も好きなのでまぁ。 映像は画面が小さいだけあって、何を見ても綺麗に見えます。 ただ、再生できるファイルがTSVという形式のムービーファイルだけらしいです。 公式にある「TSVConverter.exe」というツールでMP4から変換できるのですが、H264形式のファイルが何故か認識せず、一度ffmpeg形式のmp4に変換しないとTSVに変換出来ませんでした。 8/15追記 ひとつ勘違いしていまして、「TSVConverter.exe」ですが、コーデック関係なくファイル名に2バイト文字が使われていると認識しない様です。

既存データの再生はOK しかし新たな画像データの読み込みが出来ません。

The idea of " building" this mini-marvel almost kept me from buying it - but it's SO snap together easy! Putting it together adds to the fun. Brilliant miniature design in both form and function. Every button on the TV works! It would be nice if it came with printed instructions but there are videos on the product site as well as others by fans. Be sure to paint it BEFORE assembling the guts. I decided to paint it afterwards. When I reassembled it, I accidentally detached the speaker from its TINY solder points. Not to worry - all the components can be reordered separately from the product website. For only $11 (mostly postage) I had a new piece in DAYS. It arrives as plain white - 3D PRINTED rough plastic. It's SO tiny I used an emery board to smooth it out a bit. To get the gold, I used a gold pen I got from Michaels.

This is something that is just really cool to have especially if you like to build miniature dollhouses like me.its very simple to build even though it don't come with instructions just search on youtube you will find videos on how to put it together properly.it comes in plain white but you can be creative and paint it what ever color you want. It comes loaded with a few videos but what I really like is that you can put your own videos.you just need the tvs converter from their website to convert your videos so that it can play on the TV. You also gotta make sure that the videos are named properly with no special letters or signs and then you can play any video on it.comes with a little remote that works good its perfect for when you put it in the miniature dollhouse you can change the channels or turn TV on and off with the remote instead of having to touch the TV. its sooo cool to watch and episode of thundercats on this little TV pretty amazing .makes the miniature dollhouses look and feel more real .I recommend this TV if you like cool things.
