Q: Is it 349 for the pair or for a single speaker? The picture and the plural use of towers vs the word each has me confused.

Yes so many written things are confusing!!! They are $349. Each. So approx $700. A pair plus shipping if you are one that has to pay shipping as I did. And they are a bargain!!!, no matter what; and can be pretty awesome for there price if one can place them between 18” and 36” from the wall behind until you get the bass balance correct for you. And preferably at least 60” apart center to center, depending on distance to your listening seat! After bass is great, play with toe-in to adjust soundstage. Mine balanced out for my room 25” from the rear of cabinets to wall behind. Buy them if you can! Bobby

Q: what 7.1 reciver would be good at 4 ohms?

I do not know, I am presently using an older Pioneer SX-850 receiver. The speakers are awesome and such a great value.
