This is a good knee brace for patellar tendinitis aka jumpers knee- when you have pain to the bottom of your knee cap made worse by jumping and frequently associated with basketball and volleyball. The strap velcros on to itself first, and then pressure is applied to a firm bar via the last part of the strap. The bar velcros on so you can adjust where it is positioned on the strap. A lot easier to put pressure on your tendon without too much of a tourniquet effect around your whole knee. Much better support and stronger Velcro than mueller type straps. Good quality, but probably will need to replace every so often due to stretch and sweat, but as to be expected with all sports braces. Food for thought, most of the time with jumpers knee you really should just take it easy or stop jumping so high for a minute... Lebron!

As strange as it seems, this device relieved the knee pain my son was experiencing from his growth spurt. It allowed him to keep playing the game he loves. They were not overly expensive either.

I guess this works for some people but if your knee is plus sized it really doesn't feel great after wearing it a while. Does help with knee pain during running.

I was skeptical because it is just a thin strap. As soon as I put it on and stood up, I felt immediate relief from the pain of tendonitis. Buy it!

Used by my PT, this has more support and a bendable metal piece that can use or not instead of the cheaper ones that are only fabric. Worth it and ordered a second one.

Our PT recommended the Fluk brace for my daughter who injured her in in soccer. So far so good. It helps keep the swelling down.
