Nice hobbyist knife
Nice knife for practicing making knife handles. Got to use up some interesting looking cherry wood that I had on hand. The blade was ground a little uneven and the handle hole locations weren't the size/locations I was hoping for, but the handle part was unhardened, so it was easy to drill new holes. Overall a very good price and definitely worth the money. Ended up getting a 2nd knife so I could practice more. If you're trying to learn how to make a knife from scratch, this is definitely a good purchase. You can learn a lot from looking at another person's work and correcting minor issues

Good quality blade to hone your skills
This was my first knife build and I took quite a while throughout the process. I watched numerous YouTube videos and ordered desert ironwood for the scales(that stuff is tough but beautiful when you get finished). The blade is a good quality and used brass pins. Epoxied the pieces together and then the real work begins....this is a good blade to start your knifemaking hobby on.

Good kit knife for the price.
This is a nice little utility or skinning knife blade. The steel is not very hard as I had no trouble drilling out larger pin holes. The guard and the blade polished up to a nice shine. The only downside so far was that the edge was ground crooked. I was able to correct this with my bench grinder and whetstone. Overall a good little knife and a really fun project. If your thinking of trying knifemaking as a hobby this is a great blade to start on. You can use any handle material and I was able to use some brass rod that I found at the local hardware store for pins.

I had to replace the scales.
The scales were warped and not very nice.
