These are very light weight, the metal on the hammer tip worked great for the kids with small nails. It's not something you'd use for standard size nails as it's not a heavy hammer head, its better than the plastic hammer heads for kids out there.

I purchased this little hammers for my classroom. We have a wood-working/construction center where the students learn to use small tools correctly and safely. These hammers have been a great addition to this center. The size is perfect for my students’ little hands. I’ve had these hammers in my classroom for half a year now, and almost all of them are still in great condition. I’ve had one hammer break, which is why I rated the hammers 4 out of 5 stars. I hope the rest of the hammers last for several years.

I got these for my 6yo son’s Minecraft themed party so I wasn’t looking to spend on quality products that could withstand typical hammer abuse. The party guests used these hammers to mine for “diamonds” in plaster of Paris. Some of these hammers broke before all the diamonds were mined. They really are toy level hammers, if even that. However they are small and cute. There’s a small metal head but the rest is very lightweight plastic.I’m disappointed that the hammers didn’t even last a few minutes of mining for diamonds, but for about $1.65ish per hammer, it was probably worth that value.

I’m a string art vendor and I was looking for light weight, low priced hammers to use for DIY classes.I was very surprised how well these stood up with hammering in wire nails into my hard wood walnut DIY kits. These will be great and easy to use for young and old students.I will be ordering more soon for larger DIY classes I will be teaching.

Ordered a set for my summer camp to build small wood project kits. One hammer broke in half. The claws broke on just about every hammer as kids tried to pry off nails. Would not recommend these!

These little hammers are mostly made of plastic and are really cute. I was just surprised that the head of the hammer is metal. I thought it was an overlay made to look like metal. Slightly concerned with 3-5 year olds using for an activity but will supervise closely.

I purchased these for classroom craft projects. I was hoping for something heavier, but these have worked just fine. The only metal portion is the very end of the head of the hammer, where I was hoping the entire head & claw of the hammer would be metal. Still useful, but I may shop around some more if I end up needing to replace them.
