It shuts off with in seconds. Bought a new battery everything is clean no clogs anywhere. Waste of money.It worked almost 9 months and then not working.

We have tile floors and bought this primarily to do accent rugs and hardwood stairs. It has had very little use. The battery will not hold a charge. It shows as fully charged but the vacuum dies after 90 seconds of use and all controls go black. The vacuum also has behavioral problems in that it seems to be stuck in Auto mode and constantly surges speed. Manual speed setting will only work if I continuously hold my finger on the control face. If I lift the finger, the auto surging resumes. After the 90 second shutdown, returning the unit to the charger shows approximately half charge. Full charge comes 10-15 minutes later. Then the 90 second use window repeats. It's useless. I will be contacting Amazon for a refund, its still under warranty. I don't want a replacement for this piece of crap

The vac was order from Amazon on July 12th and was delivered on July 17th. The unit arrived in the manufacturer’s packaging and inside a cardboard box from Amazon. No damage noted to the shipping container or contents.All components were adequately packaged for shipment and were easily removed from the box and there were no missing components. An information sheet was included that provided directions for assembly. The instructions were easily followed and the unit was unpackaged and assembled in approximately 20 minutes. Instructions indicated the unit should be placed on the charger that was provided for 12 hours.The written operating instructions provided were not clear and did not adequately describe the operations of the unit. The instructions were obviously written for a two speed unit with a low-power and high-power mode. The unit provided has a three power mode function and the unit has touch sensor switches on the top of the unit to change modes. This was only discovered by researching the unit on the internet.When using the unit, the low power mode seemed to have a low suction that might not be adequate for typical needs. The medium power appeared to be adequate for normal use. The high power provided the highest suction but also the sound level of the unit was rather high in that mode. The battery provided approximately 30 minutes of usage at the moderate power mode. The battery recharge time was approximately 2 hours.When ordering the unit, the web page indicated a color of gray as being available and this was ordered. When the unit arrived the box on the unit indicated a color of white and silver. There was no gray options listed on the box which showed the 4 different colors that were available.Suggest the color options should be better described on the webpage and the operation manual be updated to reflected the actual operation of the unit.

My poor very old Kenmore canister vac was falling apart in bits and pieces. It was also becoming too heavy for me to haul up and down the stairs. But I was having a hard time deciding on which (very expensive) vac to get since the reviews were all very conflicting. So I read the Britech reviews, most of which were really great - as was the price. I decided I'd buy it as a temporary vac until I could decide on a Dyson or a Shark - or whatever. Well this is my "go-to keeping it forever" vac! It feels like it weighs next to nothing, maneuvers easily around all the furniture, picks up the dog hair off the rugs and makes doing the stairs a breeze. I have mostly hardwood flooring with several rugs and carpet on the stairs, but it worked well on everything. My house is small but I vacuumed the whole place with motor speed on high and it stayed charged. I later read the instructions (haha) and found that there is actually a setting which allows the motor to speed up in heavy dust/dirt and slow down for light duty....I'll use that next time. It's a no-brainer - buy this vac!!

I purchased a stick Britech vacuum last year. I loved the look and design of it. My first one worked for about four months then the light went out and I noticed the suction wasn't quite as good. Then a few days later it would not turn on, even on a fully charged battery. So I contacted Britech and they were very nice. They took my Amazon order number to verify my purchase and sent me a new vacuum. Sadly, this one didn't last as long as the first one. This time it started making a loud sound when I used it. So I stopped, cleaned every part of the vacuum out that I could, turned it back on, still sounded awful. Hung it back up to charge. Tried one last time, with a fully charged battery, the vacuum will not come on at all now. The screen comes on for a moment, shows a fully charged battery, then goes off.The company itself was wonderful to work with and I really hope they work out the problems with this vacuum. It looks 100% nicer than all stick vacuums, now if they could get it to run better than the other stick vacuums.

It’s worked pretty well as long as we don’t go back and forth, it only picks up things if you’re moving it forward, not like other vacuums. But now the lights are flickering on it, the roller won’t move, and it really just moves stuff around and doesn’t pick it up. We have cleaned the pieces, cleaned the filter, cleaned the roller, and it’s just slowly falling apart more and more. Pretty bummed that stuff you buy off Amazon these days just isn’t guaranteed to last long and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Upon opening I despite the small space, found that 30 battery not good! But I can manage, like many batteries the "memory" charge time came far to fast, bought it Jan and by June battery dying and today 9 months able to get 5 minutes of usage???? Attempting to look at web manufacturers or any unto customer support???? not a thing unto ANY support or real contact information!Disabled War veteran and live to far in a remote area, I had a battery remanufacture unto another non related product and that worked ans STILL working! years ago I had that repaired. Today my health is far down the ladder and this is irritating as I bought a product and unable to use it!Oh a new and better battery I desire!
