This stuff is AMAZING. I am in LOVE. I will never again gauge my ears without this. At first I thought, "Why buy this one? There are much cheaper types out there." (I know this isn't expensive but c'mon, we're all looking for a bargain!) So I found a couple of different types but this stretching balm had the best reviews by far - I always trust the reviews. So I bought it. I am seriously amazed by what this stuff can do. I have always stretched my ears, technically "dry" before I bought this, and it doesn't feel great. After a hot shower, I would push in a new size and I had to push and push and it would usually tear and bleed and throb for days afterward. Not fun at all. They say that if you stretch it improperly, it will never heal or be able to shrink back to the small size. And I like to go back and forth from regular sized earrings to a double zero gauge - so it's important to me that my holes will shrink back. ANYWAY. I bought this stuff and freaked out. I lathered my ears up with it and, like a freaking miracle, the gauges slipped right into my ear! I had just tried one size up, the DAY before and it hurt so badly that I couldn't even get them in. For some reason, when you use this stuff, you ears just take it! The next size up went into my ear, very easily, no pushing, no bleeding, no tearing, no throbbing! I was SHOCKED. It was so incredible! I actually can't wait to go up another size! I am so excited because it's EASY to stretch my ears now! Don't think about it anymore, just BUY IT. This stuff is miraculous. You will not regret this purchase.

This is genuinely the best ear stretching balm I have ever used. It’s better than jojoba oil and it even smells good! I’ve been using this little container almost every day for exactly 6 months now and it’s just a little over halfway gone. It’s insane how long it’s lasted me and how long it will be before I have to buy another. I would definitely recommend!!!

I had this on wishlist for months now, debating back and forth if I needed it. If you're doing debating as well, seriously just buy it. Its less than 10 bucks and definitely worth using on your ears or other pierced areas. I have very sensitive skin so when I went up a size before I got the balm, my ears would be irritated for weeks to a little over a month. They would constantly be hot, itchy, dry and clear discharge would be oozing down my neck. GROSS! I even waited 10 months to go up a size and that was only at the 12G-10G stage. 2 days after I got the balm, I prepped my ears after a shower. Rubbed the balm generously over my left ear and on the taper. There was very minimal tugging and it did not make me cringe. Took less than a minute to get the taper in compared to before, taking over 5 minutes of twisting, pushing, & massaging to get the taper in w/out the balm. Took no more than 5 days to "fully heal." No dry, flaky, irritated, oozing ear. Waited 6 months this time around to size up to 2G. At the same time, my right ear was already infected because I had to replace my plug but I was out in public and only had a spare in my purse. I cleaned it as best as I can but it didnt work. My ear felt like it was back to its newly stretched phase- cracked skin, bump under the ear and clear discharge constantly flowing down. Cleaned my plugs and my ear with salt water then rubbed the balm all over. It started to heal up faster than it did when all I had was salt water & vitamin E oil. Highly recommended for anyone who's trying to stretch their ears.

This balm comes in a very small container (in the photos I chose a standard eyeliner sharpener for a size reference), but that doesn’t matter, as a little of this stuff goes a long way. It smells great, and it spreads easily, and it doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy. I think the most impressive aspect of this balm is how much it minimizes the pain of stretching. I know everyone says that if you’re stretching your ears and it hurts then something is wrong, but even stretching as slowly as possible and leaving several months between stretches for healing time, there will still be some amount of pain when/after inserting a new taper and plug. This made stretching absolutely painless, and the taper slid through my ear without sticking. Transitioning from the taper to the plug afterward was way easier than it ever was before, thanks to this balm. I’ll definitely be recommending this to my friends, and when I run out (I feel like this will take a long time) I’ll be buying more. The one thing I will suggest to prospective buyers is to look through the ingredients list and make sure you don’t have allergies to any of them. I have a friend who is allergic to jojoba and would break out with a rash if she used this, so just be sure to pay attention when you buy all natural things.

Works great, smells delightful. It will last me forever! Worth the price for sure. Barely glide your finger over the surface of the balm and you're good to go. I've been using it for a few weeks going on a month now every day and it makes my ears soft and moisturized and I've barely used any at all. It's been helpful combined with massage to reverse my old and already healed slight blowouts. It's great for daily use. I take my tunnels out in the shower and let them bare for about ten to fifteen minutes after getting out, and gauge gear makes it a simple swift movement putting the tunnels back and seems to be aiding in thickening my lobes from previous damage. Gauge gear is great for slow stretching because you can use it for daily upkeep and maintenance without spending an absolute fortune. The quantity is deceiving in the best way. It may not look like you're getting much for your money, but it lasts forever! Others complained that it left a grease or a "film" on their ears in negative reviews, but I've found this only really happens when you use more than needed (which isn't much) and that even so, it is only like that because it absorbs into your lobes more slowly, which for me is no problem because the results are beautiful! I will be buying gauge gear again. c

This stuff is a life saver if you have stretched ears, it's very soothing and pleasant to use and if you have trouble putting your plugs back in every morning due to shrinkage this is the answer to that problem, just a little dab is all you need which means a little container like this is going to last you a very long time, probably like over a year which is great. Honestly I think everyone with stretched ears should own some of this if they don't already and could also make for a nice gift if you know someone who has stretched ears.
