Direct replacement
I have an old house with an original manual garage door. Lost the key to the door and the t handle was also broken so this kit was exactly what I needed. Very rarely do new parts fit so nicely on an old home. There are no directions but it's fairly self explanatory. Everything works together smoothly, the lock doesn't bind when trying to unlock it like some old ones do.

This is a good replacement ! It isnโt as sturdy as the the original was but it works great. FYI- go ahead and shoot some lube in the key slot directly after installing .it was easy to install

This kit replaced my whole garage key/lock apparatus.Its exactly what I needed. My outside handle was broken and since them the outside bezel broke and it used to slide around plus we had lost the keys.This kit as a whole worked perfectly.1 issue was the inside handle....the hole was too small for the pin provided in the kit (which I read in another review) ...u could remedy the issue by using a drill bit to ream the hole bigger to accept the thicker pin...OR do what I did and reused the inside handle which the hole for the pin was PERFECTLY sized for. So there u go.Highly recommended!

They don't make then like they use too!
As other reviewers as mentioned, this is a better choice when replacing just a few parts. Some parts may not fit all Clopay garage doors. I found the original components to be of a better build quality than the replacement parts. As others had noted, the T-handle shaft is larger than the original. No instructions included.

Very happy with this lock
We have a similar lock on our garage door and it was broken so we used a padlock. I saw this one on amazon and it fit perfectly! It was easy to install and works very smoothly. I am very happy with this purchase.
