Real wood
This chopstick made from real wood ..Name is “Noto asunaro”.I think English name is “Aomori cypress”Japanese chopsticks are very right weight.Very comfortable and hand is not tired for using. They said dish wash safe but I recommended hand wash is you wanna use them long time.

Too lightweight for me—is this really wood?
The chopsticks look beautiful, but I was shocked that they weigh almost nothing. I expect wooden chopsticks to have a little weight to them. I find that makes them easier to use and makes them feel more expensive. They are also so unnaturally smooth, I had to go back and check that the description said wood. It feels more like fiberglass. I chose wood—expecting solid wood—because I like the way it feels. I’m definitely disappointed. Honestly, I’m not sure if they are wood or not (for a minute I was convinced they weren’t, now I think maybe they’re just hollow), but either way it’s not the feel I was expecting from wooden chopsticks. That said, the textured tips are cool and they do look beautiful. If you want something very lightweight and smooth, then maybe you’ll like these.

Best quality for the price. Made in Japan.
Very happy I bought these while they were in stock. Very hard to find good quality Japanese-made chopsticks outside of Japan that don't cost an arm and a leg. These are well-made, light, comfortable, and the rough textured lacquer on the tips makes them grip food nicely. Lacquer seems sturdy and safe, doesn't easily scrub off. I used to use stainless steel chopsticks for ease of cleaning in the dishwasher. These wooden ones are so much more comfortable, aesthetically pleasant, and useful, that I'm happy to just handwash them whenever I use chopsticks and I don't find myself using the metal ones anymore. That's saying a lot because I hate washing dishes by hand.

Beautiful Chopsticks
Pretty slippery for chopsticks, probably going to rough up the varnish a bit with fine sandpaper at the tips to help with grip but beyond that, they're good looking and function the way a chopstick ought to.

Just chopsticks
Extremely light. It is made of wood, I broke one to check. I don't like the plastic coating they used on the surface. It might as well be plastic.

Good quality chopsticks
We had one month of usage. The chopsticks were made in the right length and diameter. It is in Japanese style with thin tip and short length. We washed them in dishwasher and did not notice any degradation in quality. Edited: seven months of usage, they still are very good
