This is my second unit. My first unit developed a leak in the middle of the evaporator coil a little over a year after installation. This kit is very easy to install and works well. I’m coming a 259 sq ft area above a detached garage. Whether it’s 102 or 18, keeps area at whatever temp is set the unit at…typically 72. It’s very quiet, and with a full load design at just below 7.5 amps (110Volt), very electrically efficient. Condensing unit also very quiet. Install with typical tooling. Don’t need any HVaC specific equipment to startup and run. Comes pre-charged with Freon.

I’m a professional HVAC tech. I can say this unit is worth the money. I installed it on my camper. It works great. Most if not all the reviews are coming from people installing the unit as a DIY. This is not a DIY system, you need an HVAC person to install this product properly. You have to pull a vacuum on the unit prior to release of refrigerant. You also need an HVAC guy to check the sub cooling of the unit to insure proper charge. Over all this is a great product and I will be buying more. I highly recommend.

I got this mini split on Black Friday couple years ago and it worked perfectly now I’m getting a new one for my son’s room.

This was a fantastic buy $$$ cool’s are 500 sqf + room it turbo blow’s fantastic and it is super supper whisper quiet.the ECO mode all so a plus. And it heat the room without ease.!Wife and I have decided to buy one moor unit for the living room it has the feel of being in a #5 ***** Hilton Hotel. It was very EZ to install you need a special fitting for the AC Gauge vacuum pump, which you can also buy on Amazon very EZ to fallow institutions.i did this by my self one handed.i do recommend getting moor Insulation for copper lines and good Insulating tape.lines are all very long so plan out your spot not to have to much line Coiled up behind the outside, AC unit and a place for the condensation line to drain correctly.a good cord less drill to set concrete anchor’s I used RED HEAD’S bot at Home Depot and a Disconnect 30 amp fuse box for the outside connection and a double pole breaker at the panel. Our room had to designated plugs, so the install was very easy after switching out a breaker.it dose not use to hi of AMP’s depending on what you have for power I don’t see a problem putting a Disconnect box and piggybacking off a existing outlet with a GFI or fuse disconnect box to securely protect the AC from any power outages, power, spikes or drops. I did this out of just overly protecting it, I also drilled through the concrete and set a 6 foot ground copper rod grounded that as well to the disconnect box and the circuit. Our home does not come with a ground. It is ground through the conduit so adding that was just a precautionary, it ties into the neutral leg of the panel with some advice from All pro electric in Rancho Cucamonga CA. Master electrician.i give this project a1 out of 10 on a difficulty level of a two.! For do it Self Project .And give the Product a hard, five stars.! #5 ***** wife and I did consider putting in a replacement wall A/C witch cost moor money then then this split unit $400-$600 for the same or Slightly bigger BTU it all so takes way less time to heat and cool then a wall unit and No noise I can’t specify that enough whisper quiet.the the cost of the split unit with shipping charges was Equivalent to our or slightly less $$$ than a window/wall unit, AC and without the ugliness and bulkiness and The noise that a wall or window unit makes of a traditional wall unit.it all so uses less power than a traditional AC unit for a older home without central AC and heat.has a grate Updated Decor and Modernized the room. I can’t thank the company enough it is and dose what it Describes too a T.!!!.

If I could leave negative 10 star review I would! Absolute garbage!! This company is an absolute disgrace. I bought an AC unit, spent good money, and within no time at all it stopped working. That was frustrating enough, but what came after was far worse: their so-called customer service. Calling it “service” is a joke. You can’t speak to a live person. I bought a unit and in a few months, it broke. Multiple sensors went out and they agreed to send me the outside used unit and ended up sending the inside and it was so dirty and so smelly. Never again! , all they did was send trash. They were , dismissive, and treated me like I was the problem for expecting a working product. A decent company stands behind what they sell. This one? They vanish the second you need them. Their AC is garbage, their employees are unprofessional, and their customer support is downright insulting. They have no respect for customers’ time, money, or trust. I honestly regret ever giving them a single dollar. Save yourself the headache and buy from literally anyone else. If you enjoy wasting money, dealing with useless support, and being treated like dirt, then by all means go ahead — otherwise, RUN the other way.

Worked Great from the first time and all thru the entire Hot Florida Summer!

I installed 3 of these and a larger one that cares for the bedrooms. I'm an electrician and seen these install so it was easy for me. We got rid of the evaporative cooling and the gas heater. We have been through all the seasons now and the house stays at a constant temperature. Everyone can change the temperature to their likes in their room without messing with the rest of the house. Utility bills have dropped! If you are willing to bite the bullet and get these install in your home or office, there is no regrets. THE WIFE STOPPED COMPLAINING!!! In my book, that was worth the investment.

I had a ROVSUN for years, since 2017 when they began. I decided to live the RV Life before the pandemic and in doing so, its key to avoid mold issues and much healthier to replace the RV AC's with a small minisplit system. I researched and found ROVSUN. Their 9000 BTU was just the right size made smaller and they made it in black which was gorgeous. My ROVSUN never failed me. When Florida began to get the Cat 4 hurricanes I lost my trailer home. Did you know that my ROVSUN Minisplit system STILL WORKED! But after a few tragic storms it was time to get a new one. And here is why I will only buy from this company.... I ordered my faithful ROVSUN and the compressor was delivered (they always deliver in two parts) and I was here to receive it but when the second part (the wall unit) was delivered, sadly Hurricane Milton was on its way and we all had to evacuate. Luckily I was able to take the compressor I received to safety but I was not here to receive the wall unit when it was delivered 2 days before Milton devastated us (because we were forced to evacuate!) Hurricane Milton came and it not only swept away my ROVSUN wall unit but it flooded my trailer home! We never found the wall unit when we returned. Just to show you how much integrity ROVSUN has, 2 months AFTER the hurricane when I was able to replace my trailer and I did not expect to ever have the wall unit replaced since it was delivered before the storm... I contacted them because it was time to install my ROVSUN compressor and I was missing the wall unit. YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT AS COMPANIES NEVER DO THIS... THEY DID NOT MAKE ME BUY A NEW ONE... THEY REPLACED THE WALL UNIT THAT FLOATED AWAY FOR FREE!!!! No one does that! Their representatives did not say "sorry we delivered it, not our problem..." INSTEAD they said "How can we help?" When I provided the proof of what happened, they said, "We are sending you a replacement for free." (I nearly fell off my chair.) Interestingly enough, when I had to live without the ROVSUN and my new trailer that came with the usual AC system that ives on the roof was being used, it DID NOT TAKE AWAY the humidity and I began to have issues with breathing because the mold is able to develop when the humidity is not kept under 55%. (Just so you know, my ROVSUN always kept the humidity at 45% or less and I never had mold issues when I had my ROVSUN.) And THAT is why you buy a minisplit system... to have consistent cooling, without condensation or humidity. Our health is all we have in the end and I will ONLY trust mine to ROVSUN. So a special "Thank you" to the people at ROVSUN, not only for having such integrity and for genuinely caring about their customers but for making a product that keeps me and my family healthy and works, even after hurricanes! : )
