The best product for ticks. The smell is a pleasant peppermint scent. I was concerned that my scent hound would not be able to tolerate the smell. He has not tolerated other natural or chemical sprays or shampoos in the past but has had no problem with this product. He had one tick on his foot and one on his belly prior to putting the collar on. I anticipated having to remove them. They died and fell off in two days. I don’t know if this is an expected outcome but a pleased. I expected some deterrence but not death to existing ones.

I love the Wondercide Sprays and have used for over 4 years. I thought I would be on top of things and get this for my dog. This product did not work at all. It had a mild to moderate peppermint smell which I do not mind. The good smell is where it ended. I used a flea comb and thinking this actually provided some level of coverage I backed off on the daily spray or multiple time a day spray. I was so wrong to not use the spray. My dog had several, and I mean several fleas on her that I located and removed with a flea comb. One flea was actually by the collar, alive and thriving. This was the biggest waste of money and time for a purchase this year. It has caused me so much extra work to clear of fleas and I wish I had not trusted it to work. I cannot imagine selling this product and sleeping at night knowing I am just taking someone’s money who trusted me. I have used the shampoo which is great and the spray but this collar was just throwing $19.99 + tax in the garbage. Please, save your money and time and do not waste it on this. I have a female Rottweiler who weighs 94lbs. This product, a complete waste as an add-on to our regime and definitely not a replacement for the spray.

Helped alot w repel ticks for sure , but ! It reads on box , switch every 4 months ...too long , I do every 2 1/2 months & use there spray ( which u spray into ur hand or on a wash cloth & rub on ur pets underbelly , up the neck area & legs for sure ! B aware ! Ticks hitch a ride on ur pets , drop off , inside ..... and can get on humans !! Sofa etc !!

This collar is totally adequate for home use. IF you maintain your property by spraying for pests every spring, etc (look into demonWP for diy home sprays, stuff is legit)I dont think would trust it in deep woods, but ive also never taken our boston hiking, etcA majority of the time he is in 2 yards that are pest control sprayed and the beach.1 tick last year and that was after we took the collar off in the fall... Collar was done and the yard spray had runnits course by then. Were not in a heavily infested or "buggy" area.

I can not control what's in the woods, but I can what's on my property. So I'm trying to be more natural with my newest puppy.This collar doesn't fully work, not as effective. I am pulling ticks off my dog left and right.

This is my third time ordering this product and for me it’s a must during tic season. Since we started using these collars we haven’t found any tics on our dog. Previously tics would ride into our house on his coat but that problem is solved and we love the peppermint scent!

Worked well for us last year. Did not find any ticks on our dog all spring/summer/fall. This year, it is not working! Also have pulled off 5+ all bit in plus a few more just crawling on him.

Great product! Smells good and the pups never had any fleas or ticks on them. Make sure to take it off once in a while to brush, long hair dogs will mat around it
