The BEST hair ties for thick hair!
I purchased these after becoming super frustrated that other "sturdy" hair ties left my incredibly thick hair in ponytails and buns that would be saggy moments after putting my hair up. With these hair ties, my hair isn't going ANYWHERE, regardless of what I'm doing. They don't permanently stretch out over time, they last a good amount of time before breaking, and they hold super tightly. I have been using these hair ties for multiple years and can't imagine going back to regular hair ties. The only con that comes with these tight, non-stretching hair ties is that you can't really wear them around your wrist unless you have teeeeeny tiny wrists. They dig in and it's not comfortable. I tend to keep one around the middle three fingers of my hand If I'm not using it, and it works just fine. I also keep a couple on my key carabiner. Additionally, you have to be kinda careful when taking your hair out of these hair ties, as if you're not careful and your hair gets tangled around the band, you might lose a couple strands of hair. I can see this being more of an issue for people with tightly curled hair. All in all, these are FANTASTIC hair ties. Highly reccommended!

BEST hair tie EVER! I'll tell you why..
LOVE LOVE LOVE These! Highly recommended! Originally found them at a local store but they must have stopped carrying them. Luckily I found them on here. I have extremely thick hair med-long length and its hard to find hair ties that will actually "hold" a pony tail or whatever. I've had so many slip out, hair get caught on metal cuppling, loosen up when I don't want it to or simply fall apart (silacone backed ones 🖓). Ive tried the silacone backed ones for it to eventually peel/fall away from tie & twisted ribbed kind with silacone for it not to hold the weight of my hair & stretch out way to fast & enviably die/break before its time. These have the BEST GRIP & BEST DURABILITY for my hair type (semi-coarse, extremely thick, blonde). Every hair tie has it's length of life before it enviably breaks so I'm not saying it won't ever but in my experience these have lasted the longest, hold the best, and can hold the weight of my hair.I normally have to look in the black lady section for items for my hair cuz white section only caters to people with fine-thin hair (dumb stereotypes). Also, as I was researching to find these saw some of reviews (other websites, didn't check on here) of people complaining about it pulling their hair out. It's specifically designed to have good grip so if you rip it out like a mangy animal then yes it's likely to get caught, but if you take it off the same way you put it on (or common sense-like slide it off with normal care) then you should have no problems.Due to its gripping nature loose (already left scalp, shedded) hair will occasionally tangle around the band a little more than standard hair ties (due to extra traction of grippiness). But all hair ties this happens to (especially if you have long hair) then just carefully trim off with sissors being careful not to cut the band itself. It's important to note to those who don't realize the difference. Our bodies shed a lot of stuff as a natural cycle of things and hair is one of those things. Don't assume it's pulling your hair out just cuz there are some shedded hairs wrapped around it, just means it had more traction as you had it in/taking it out.Like scotch tape vs duct tape (or a good boxing tape) when getting rid of lint/pet hair, duct tape is going to do a better job cuz it's designed to have better grip. Hopefully it makes sense to those who didn't understand before.Anyway I've tried tons of hair ties throughout my life and these are by far the best. I won't be buying any other kind. I also like the fact you can get them in fun different colors or just black.

Wonderful for thick hair!
These are the ONLY hair ties I buy for myself. I've always had extremely thick hair... enough for every hair dresser I've ever visited to comment on ("Wow, your hair is super thick!"). Unfortunately for me, it's so thick it can give me headaches... but that's not what we're here to discuss. These hair ties- these are a LIFESAVER. I had a friend give me some of theirs once because they had super thick hair, too... it was about 7ish years ago. Since then? These are legitimately the only hair ties I've purchased for myself. Not only do they have a good grip since they're made of silicone, but also they stay in place all day. Sometimes I'll wear my hair up in bed (I know, I know... bad me) and it'll stay pretty much in place, minus flyaways and a bit of slippage... but that makes sense since I roll over a lot in my sleep.Anyway... if you have super thick hair and have lamented over not finding a good, strong hair tie: look no further. Seriously. This isn't even an incentivized review! I've never gotten these things for free (except from my friend who gave me a couple and introduced me to these). Also, the last time I bought these was April of 2021... it's now almost January of 2023. I bought 2 packs of these from Amazon. And they've lasted this long. And I still have several. I probably won't even buy any until April 2023, not gonna lie... because they last forever! Now, there are a couple of cons... if you can even call them that. They do snap apart eventually after continual use. I use mine every day, though, and still have a bunch. Just... if its starting to show wear and tear (the hair tie), then take a second one with you wherever you're going just in case it pops open and your hair comes down like Rapunzel's from that tower. Seriously, you'll thank me for this piece of advice. They do start to stretch out after a long time of use, too... especially if you prefer your ponytails nice and tight like I do. I keep mine in a high ponytail daily (unless I've got a particularly wicked headache that day) and so it takes a bit of time for them to stretch out, but they do. Then they wind up cracking and like a week later will probably snap. I always carry extras as a backup! I keep some on my carabiner that attaches to my car/house keys.... and then some in my little first aid pouch I keep in my purse. They've saved me countless times. All in all, though... these is super worth buying. I highly recommend them and will continue to wear these for as long as I live, provided they keep making them.

Faves!
These are my favorite ponytail holders! They stay put and last a long time. I have naturally curly hair and they are good for that as well as when I straighten my hair. Highly recommend.

Great for long hair
These are my favorite! They don’t slip and pull out of my hair with little to no breakage. These don’t have the metal piece that always pulls your hair. They are very durable and can last a long time with daily use. The color selection is fun so you can match your outfit. They do stretch out a little but only after many uses. Overall - these are my go to ponytail elastics!
