I recently bought my S26 Plus and Magnet case. I have a cup holder phone mount which is good, but when I have to look at the maps, I have to look down, takes my eyes off the road for a few seconds, which is risky to do. I went online and took a leap of faith when I bought this CD phone mount for my Honda Civic 2013 Sedan. Because it has strong magnets, the phone holds great. The fit is tight and strong. Easy to use. I tested it out when I went out on a long road trip. Even on the highway which has some small bumps, the phone mount remained tight. It didn't wobble, shake or get loose. Previous CD phone mounts, the phone would droop down, and the mount would get loose. But not this mount. Very happy to have it. I wish I bought this a while back when I got my phone. Value for money, it's worth it. The mount has a strong magnet hold, and I have to use two hands, just to remove the phone from the mount. I would buy this again if anything happened to the current one and I would recommend this to my friends and anyone who wants a strong magnetic CD phone mount.

My husband and I just started doing gig work a few months ago. It only took about 2 months of constant use before my official Popsocket phone mount broke. Thinking that, since we have Popsockets on our phones, we NEEDED a Popsocket mount, I went ahead and spent $30 on a new one. Shortly after, I randomly came across a reddit post, praising these magnetic cd phone mounts. I told my husband about it, and he bought one. We both instantly fell in love with it! I ordered one for myself right away, and I returned the Popsocket mount I had bought. Being a gig worker, we're constantly taking our phones on and off the mount. A 4 hour route, with 40+ deliveries, means we're taking our phones off and on the mount at least 40X a day. That's a LOT of use! Being magnetic, it's so much faster and easier to take the phone off and on the mount. And with it being installed in the cd player, I don't have to worry about issues with suction, or stickiness. The hot desert heat, where I live, isn't a good match for the sticky phone mounts. And I've never been able to get the suction ones to work right. I have a big, fat case on my phone, and the magnet still works perfectly through it. I personally haven't had my phone come off the mount while driving yet, but my husband drives a big, bumpy truck, and one of his routes took him on a rough, rural, rocky, dirt road, and he said the phone wouldn't stay on the mount. But it's held up fine for us on regular dirt roads, so I can't really complain about that. I love how easy it is to adjust the position of the phone. And the height and distance is perfect for me to glance at the gps, or to quickly select something on my screen, while driving. (Please do not text and drive, even WITH a phone mount. It's just too dangerous, and not worth someone's life.) I cannot think of anything negative to say about this phone mount, but I will update my review if anything changes. As of right now, it's absolutely perfect! My husband and I love them, and comment on it every time we do a route together. Let me first day that I have tried suction-cup phone holders, and they never stay stuck. Eventually, they fall off, and resticking them again usually results in a quicker fall the second time. I've also tried 'vent clip' holders, which arent stable and extremely fragile to the vent, eventually breaking the vent (which, in my case, cost $157 just for the replacement vent part). I went a year or more without a cell phone holder, trying to find the perfect mount type and location. I didnt want one that would block my view out the windshield, and I preferred one that would not block my view of the navigation display. I finally discovered quite by accident that I have a CD player in my console. Take a look in photo #1 - can you spot the CD player? Since I didnt know I had one, that means I really didnt use it for anything, and so I investigated this phone holder that makes use of the CD slot. I wasnt expecting much, due to my previous experiences with phone holders, but check out my other two photos! This thing is amazing! Sturdy mount. doesn't shake around on bumps. Stays put. Swivels in any direction. Easily readable and reachable. Gear shift knob moves freely under the phone in either landscape or portrait orientation, but your console will likely vary from mine. It's been a month of daily use, and absolutely no problems! The magnet is strong. One reviewer stated that the phone holder came completely out of the slot when he pulled his phone off. and called this product junk as a result. I disagree 1000%. The magnet is strong for a reason, and the easiest way to remove the phone is to slide it off to the right - easy! Dont pull, slide! There is no perfect place to mount a phone in my car...when mounted, my phone hides the climate controls...but I know them by feel, and I can easily remove the phone to make a change if need be. I love this unit!

So far so good. Adjustability is good. Stability gets 4 stars. Good value. Easy to install.

I have an older Toyota with a CD player, in fact whatever car I get from this one on will in fact have a CD player because streaming music services are mostly low quality (if you use the non-pay versions) and nothing beats the dynamic range of a CD. That said, I also have an older Samsung Galaxy that has an affixed magnet in the back of its case. Have been having problems for yrs with dash-mount, vent-based, cup-holder orientated and the list goes on of auto-phone holder devices out there. Most besides losing adhesion once temperatures inside the car go to either extreme (for some reason) end up being unsturdy made from cheap quality plastic, that just cracks or breaks apart on some unsuspecting day. Happened to me many times, and you've not mishandled the holder or did anything adversely obvious before that. The internal dash CD player/holder is a great invention taking advantage of lets face it, an audio feature for cars that will one day soon be completely eliminated for most vehicle makes and models. But in the meantime, its a good alternative the others I mentioned. This brand's model in particular fits with outstanding stability, adjustment ability using the provided torque wingnut, and holds my phone with plenty of magnetism that road bumps and other driving shifts don't influence at all. Really no downside to it that I can tell other than it took me a bit to align the threads of the wingnut into the main unit per the installation guide...not a dealbreaker by any stretch for me. Great design to have the magnet in the shape of a square, provides more magnet surface area than a circular magnetic phone reast. Bottom line: give this one a try as other ones that are larger, different shaped, and not as compact or efficient looking are also double or triple priced compared to this one. No disappointments from me thus far

This has been one of my favorite car mounts. The first few times I used it though I was mounting it wrong and it would sometimes slip out and fall down. Once I figured out how to mount it properly it hasn't come out in several months of usage. The magnet is very strong and grabs my phone very quickly. Its not expensive so I'm happy with the value of the mount. So I would say installation is easy but doing it the right way is not so easy. Take your time to figure it out and make sure its in securely

Works very good my only gripe but this might be only in my case, I just with the Ring they give you for the MagSafe was a little bigger like more surface area. It’s a little tricky getting it first try to snap on with an iPad , but with my phone it’s very easy to snap on snap off. The magnets are strong no doubt there, I guess since the old 10.5 iPads I couldn’t find a case with MagSafe on it so I used the one they gave you and a cheap case to create one. Other than that no problems so far just make sure to tighten it well , I once tried to take off my iPad and it actually yoinked the entire thing off, but not too tight I’ve seen reviews that it can actually break the CD Slot so be careful just tighten well.

no matter how hard I turn the knob to expand the clamp inside the slot, it is very easy to pull on the mount and pull it out of the cd slot. I ended up putting small pieces of extra strength double-sided tape on the tabs so that they can stick to the walls of the cd slot. this may cause damage in the future, especially if high heat melts the tape, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Excelente producto, tenía miedo que quedara suelto o que el imán no fuera muy potente. Pero todo lo contrario, se sujeta bien a la ranura de CDs y el imán es super potente. Lo recomiendo mucho, en toyota Matrix 2007 y con una Huawei Mate Pro 13.2“ queda perfecto. No estorba a la palanca de cambios ni al volante, el único detalle es que el botón de Hazzard queda tras la tablet, pero quizá para un teléfono o tablet más pequeña son dificultad accedes al Hazzard. En topes y terraceria reacciona muy bien y no se resvala ni vibra exageradamente. Recomiendo mucho para actualizas su sistema de infoentretenimiento.

In mijn auto is het heel moeilijk om een telefoonhouder te plaatsen die blijft zitten. Desondanks dat de auto zeer recent is, heeft hij nog een CD-speler. Deze houder blijft daar goed in zitten! De magneten zijn ook sterk genoeg om mijn telefoon vast te houden.
