It covers basics for sewing, but goes beyond with specific fit problems with your subject and how to fix it on your patterns. It also provides different ways to adapt your patterns. With tons of photos and easy to understand instructions, this will also stay next to my sewing machine for quick reference.

This book is great. The illustrations are super helpful. I just started sewing and this book has some great information that details so many aspects of sewing. It explains fabric types, threads, patterns, stitches, tools, and so much more. I highly recommend it.
