Love this clay
I've only ever had the original Sculpey found at craft stores and never thought I could love polymer clay like this.I'm working in small scale to make 1/12 dollhouse doll parts from scratch and learned about this brand through a youtube video review. So glad I bought this! Cosclay is easy to to detail and waaaaay easier to smooth out even when using makeshift sculpting tools like a toothpick. The tiny fingers on the hands can be gently flexed without breaking after baking, so I don't have to be so paranoid about dropping things or snapping an ear off my doll's head while handling. I did take some online advice with my own spin to make sure it baked well because I didn't want to start over.Preheated oven. Used a deep ceramic pie dish with a folded sheet of printer paper under the clay. Tin foil over the top with a small opening on either side. Made sure oven tray was in the center spot, baked a minimum of an hour, and let cool for over thirty minutes-- and had a piece of test clay in there to check that things had cured nicely before I dared touch my actual work. Turned out perfect.I didn't have any issues with Cosclay getting "too soft" to sculpt effectively like some reviewers mention, but my room is very cool so that might make all the difference.

Cosclay is a complete game changer!! AMAZING!!
The media could not be loaded. This is such an incredible product!! I’ve been using it for a while now and I’m constantly amazed by it! It’s so great! Because it remains flexible after baking I can finally create delicate parts of a sculpture without worrying about breakage! It simply bends and returns to the original position! And check this out…. if Cosclay is sculpted over a bendable wire then baked it can then be bent and posed! It’s not brittle like other polymer clays. Another absolutely amazing feat is that Cosclay does not sag or droop during the baking process!!! This is a huge relief to me!!! No longer do I need to prop up a sculpture during baking in order to ensure it’s intended position.. it’s incredible!.. even long thin appendages remain in their exact placement!!! I just love it!! It’s great on its own ..and can be baked in stages adding more and more pieces to the sculpture or used to create all sorts of intricate, whimsical accents to another sculpting medium . The possibilities seem endless. I Highly recommend this stuff!

Amazing stuff!
I'm experimenting with clay figures as an amateur. I've used Sculpey from time to time, and it's... polymer clay. When I heard there was a clay that remained flexible, I knew I had to try it. On my first figure, I was able to do thin wisps of hair and "billowing fabric" without fear of breaking them. I did break it twice, once by pulling on half cured clay, and once when it fell during the bake. It breaks cleanly and is super easy to glue back together. The rest is beautifully flexible and forgiving.-It holds it shape well-it takes details well-it holds up to multiple bakes, and stays flexible-it's easy to work with (once you warm it past the crumbly stage)-it gave me the confidence to try my first figure. I can't imagine going back to other polymer clays. Can't wait to try again!
