I swapped out the oem port in the back seat center console to upgrade to usb c connections. It was easy to install and works great. We have plugged in multiple devices at once without blowing a fuse.The on/off button was a concern at first but even if you forget to switch off and your wires are always live it doesn't drain the battery. We have left it on for 5 days without starting the car and battery charge wasn't impacted at all. The on/off is now a nice feature because you can turn it off at night is someone in the back wants it dark to nap.

Replaced the cigarette lighter like plug with this for people in the back seat. Works great. Had to enlarge the hole slightly to get it to fit. Not a big deal.

Wiring was off from the manufacturer, after some testing to see what actually turned it off and on, works great and use it daily! 3months strong so far!

This replaced a car cigarette lighter and I love the ability to charge multiple devices at once without an adapter. The hardest part of the installation was removing the cigarette lighter, which has nothing to do with the product. However, I was surprised to find the threads of the product make it very slightly larger in diameter than the lighter. A few seconds with a Dremel enlarged the hole to fit (minus a star for the extra work). And, since the connectors were pre-installed on the supplied wire, I installed my own 1/4" connectors on the car's existing wires. I opted to use the dust cover because my configuration is upward-facing. It's too new to speak to its durability or tell whether it charges faster than the old adapter. Overall, it looks great and works as intended. I wish I had done this sooner.

I bought this for my 2017 Toyota Tundra. The back seat area only has a single 12v socket. Installing this took just a little trimming off the hole, but fit nice and snug.Now can power 2 USB-C devices and a standard USB device at the same time.
