A portable and versatile engraver.
It lives up to the description. Fast and easy to use. Versatile and portable. It can't do everything, but for the price it is well worth the purchase.

This thing is incredible and a game changer
First off I purchased this laser because I am frivolous. Nothing more. My wife would agree. The set up was super easy and I was already lazing my first item within 15 minutes of opening the box. You have to download the lazerpecker app. There are 2 apps. One is a basic one and one is a (studio) app with more options. It connects over Bluetooth to the app with ease. I have tried layering basically everything I own at this point. From yeti mugs that are powered coated to glass, metal, and wood. It does work on metal just fine you might just have to make multiple passes. I have not used any other lasers but this thing is speedy fast. The quality is that of an Apple product. Very high quality aluminum build and I believe that is part of the expensive cost. Should you purchase it? I can’t decide for you but at the hefty price tag I would only purchase it if you plan on selling items or doing custom orders. It takes up little space and looks great sitting next to my desk. Also if you plan on buying this make sure you have a garage or outdoor area to use it in as you definitely do not want to use this in your home. Depending on what you are layering it smells terrible. Overall I can recommend this item to a friend.

Practice and it will work. Stock photos suck
You will quickly learn that every cup is different. I tried using the setting from a Walmart tumble on a yeti and the first time it wasn’t strong enough and the 2nd time I burned it by going too hard. It all has to do with how thick the powder coat is. Yeti is a thick coat then most others so I’ve done a lot of whoops to get it right. Plan on needing a well ventilated room. By the 3rd cup all I could smell was burning and you’ll start to see particulates in the air. I suggest taking screen shots everytime you use a new setting just incase it’s the magic one. Turning the power over 50% almost always burns a stainless steel cup, change the depth but not the power. You want to cut through the powder coat but not scorch the steel. It’s happened to me many time. The software isn’t that great which is why it got 4 stars and the stock photos are incredibly limited and not even close to relevant. Luckily google images has your back. Overall I am glad I got it even though I’m just using it for fun to engrave my own cups and maybe some wood. For wood I highly recommend setting ti to my 2 passes, it helps bring out the definition in the image and the harder the wood the more passes it’ll need. 1k images will print within a minute, 2k images will take 3x longer. Although the 1k images look pretty good. I’ll recommend Walmart clearance tumblers for some practice before making anything special. Pay attention to the preview. It shows where the image will start and end before printing, it’s a last chance to turn the cup or slide it up and down.

Oh, but if you want to use it...
This thing feels durable. It will etch and such, but the app for this thing. Sucks. It's so basic and functionless, is not user friendly. doesn't do more than 1 pass at a time. Meaning it will etch the image or picture 1 time. then you have to hit go again if you want to make it more visible or pronounced. Did I mention their app program for this thing sucks? You can't easily use a PC to connect and etch with, mostly good for use with a cell phone or a tablet... but the depth of the app makes it embarrassing to use as you hobble thru minimal selections in the app. This is over priced. Yes it's a lazar etcher but barely useable. Very disappointed. Won't make that mistake again. 1 year later (UPDATE) Still a piece of junk that won't work with a computer. It say's it can use the included USB cable... Thats a LIE If you want to use Bluetooth, you're going to spend more money on the required dongle. This is a rip off company, stay away and get something worth your time.

Great portable laser etcher for custom gifts and promo stuff
I've had it for a little over a year now and it's got some great features. I've used it on wood, cork (coasters), even some metal projects. The metal only really works if it has a coating over it that you etch away to reveal the metal underneath, that's the only downside on that. It's just not a powerful enough laser for really etching into the metal. I used it on coated tumblers with stainless steel under and it worked great, just make sure you use the roller with the tumbler otherwise the sides of your image may not work. All the other materials I've used it on work great though. It's pretty fast and I love how portable it is. I'd say it's great for small hobby projects and customized gifts. It's also really easy to use. Just open a photo inside the app and it will automatically trace it and let you change a few parameters to make sure it's what you want before you start the laser. I also like the laser preview box it can do to show you the area your image is going to cover. Overall, a great product.

One of the more better and affordable Laser Engravers
I am a proud owner of 3 of your products. The LP1, the LX1 and I just recently purchased the LP2 which I absolutely love the portability. The things I would suggest is a quick release from its stand for portability instead of having to reach behind the laser shield, and have to unthread a screw. Its a bit cumbersome if you have it up against a wall in the back too.. Nothing major just a thought. I do like the fact the LP1 auto ranges vs having to manually measure on the LP2 but that not a major flaw to me. Speed is definitely better from start to finish than both LP1 and LX1 (lots of set up for that). The app is definitely much better on the LP2.. I wish you would update the LP1 app to be a bit more extensive but thats why I went with the LP2 (though I love all three items). Im still working with LP2 more and may have more ideas but this one is solid for portability and the fact i have 3 of your lasers shows how much I appreciate your quality.. Keep it up.

LP2 Easy and portable for simple burns.
I bought this for labeling and signing my wood creations. A LP1 would have done that just fine but i went with a LP2. More than I need for my intended needs but opens up more possibilities on other items. Once I found the design space app and was able to burn a curved text and I am almost 100% satisfied. More font selections and I would be 100% satisfied for the initial intended purpose. Now with that said after playing and going beyond my intended purpose of simple labeling the app could be improved on and there is a leaning curve on how the machine burns on other material and what format is being used. The storage case the company sent after doing an initial suggestion reply they asked for is rather nice. This machine is extremely portable and the power requirements are very low, so for storage and transport the case is a great addition.
