Very nice! I didn't care for the white threading, so I just dyed it black with leather dye. Also rubbed it down with a little bee's wax, made it nice and soft. My old Ka-Bar that I'm restoring fits perfectly! Very happy with it.

This could hurt somebody if they fell onto their knife, the blade would literally pierce right through and possibly into you. I do not advise this product for carrying your knife. I was afraid to use it - my knife cuts right through the thin leather. This sheath reminds me of a good quality toy sheath for a child, not using a real knife. After I unpackaged, sheathed and unsheathed my knife, the blade of my knife sliced deep and I knew I wouldn’t be able to trust this not hurting me in the field. I ended up chopping it up with my knife, which was surprisingly easy. My sharp blade cut through this sheath like it was cloth.. not something I would trust using in the field. I liked the size, but the material is too thin. I liked the option for vertical or horizontal, but again, not a thick enough material to be safe. This would make a good toy sheath for a child.

Leather is a little soft, but overall it seems well made. Looks good, works as intended and fits the knife that was made by a friend. Overall very nice sheath.

Was not sure about this knife sheath when I ordered it, but for the price it seemed to be worth a try. It is very well made and the type of double stitching will make it last. It is a tight fit around the handle strap for the Gerber Strongarm, but a tight fit is way better than a loose fit. The way the sheath is designed, it does not contact the sharp knife edge when placed inside. The side carry feature works well for walking; not so sure about how it will work sitting in a car, but plan to give it a try. Great product for the price.
