will this be replacement for 92s (series 9 )?

Replacement blade 92S and 94M are interchangeable with series 9 and series 9 pro. So this will work on series 9 and series 9 pro without any problems.

Is the 9 pro shaver head much better than the regular 9 head?

The big difference between the 94M (pro) and the 92S (regular) is the gold trimmer. On the 94M head, the golden trimmer has grooves that are a little more open, more widely spaced. In theory, this would facilitate the cutting of slightly larger, thicker hairs, with more time to grow. If your beard is thick, I believe that using the 94M will make a difference and bring some advantage.
