Just ok. Not the best recording, but it's ok.

People are saying it doesn't but Sexual Healing is on the second disc. Actually, I like the second disc more. It has his later songs that have more meaning to them...more sophisticated musically and lyric-wise.

At 34 songs, it has 13 fewer songs than "Anthology" from 1995 which is now out of print, but still available used and a better choice than this. In GOLD's favor is the full-length (11 minutes) of "Got to Give It Up." But ANTHOLOGY has 47 songs, a few which I really miss here (like "My Mistake Was to Love You," which was a great duet with Diana Ross). Still, the sound quality of GOLD is fantastic, and I can't really knock it, even though I like ANTHOLOGY better.

Especially worthwhile for the long version of “Got to Give It Up.”
