Although it has 8 ports but it can only take 5 .. once you plug in the 6th iPhone/ipad the fan triggers and that leads the hub to withdraw power from the iPads . This makes the iPad trigger warning signs all the time stating cannot use accessory “ this accessory uses too much power “. .

I am. Only rating this as one star as the order came in with only a power cable whilst the description of the item mentions smaller cables also. I also noticed that the box itself mentions a chatging cable and no other cables included thus not sure if the description of the item is correct. Anyway, mine returned.

Got the 10 port version as 5 port was unavailable although I have one of those too. It's very chunky in comparison but that's what I paid for and 10 ports means less swapping of cables in my case.Came with a single 1 meter c13 power cable which is ridiculously short. 1.5m would have been bare minimum here and 2m ideal. Luckily c13 cables are almost as ubiquitous as usb cables and odds are most have one lying around their home from their PC, monitor or printer. Still a stupid thing to cheap out on considering the minor cost and the lack of ANY other cables needing to be provided.No usb cables included which is excusable since shipping usb cables with products is frowned upon since the EU ruling. But finding uniform color and size cables for this product at a reasonable price is such an enormous pain. Since the product is marketed towards those seeking to reduce clutter, they ought to sell 3 or 5-packs of 6 inch usb c and micro usb cables to make things easier for the people who might want to get the most out of this product.The 10 port version comes with an internal cooling fan that supposedly turns on at 65C but there's no way to manually test the fan or the noise output. I don't fancy blasting my new product with a heat gun just to test it but judging from the 8.5cm fan vent at the bottom, it's probably a 80-90cm fan and likely noisy as hell since they're likely to have cheaped out on that too.A manual/auto switch for those that like the fan always on or at least on well before hitting the rather high 65C mark would have cost nothing but that's yet another design miss. I suppose someone with time on their hands could wire the internal fan directly to one of the usb ports but that's more trouble than its worth.Overall a product with a lot of potential ruined by overzealous profit margins.

A bit expensive but well worth it. I haven't regretted this purchase even for one minute!It is powerful and well thought out with sophisticated electronics that adapt to anything plugged into it (at least anything I have, and I have a lot). As far as I can tell, it recognizes whatever is plugged in and provides the optimal charging rate - turning off when the charge is complete. It seems capable of charging whatever is plugged in at full capacity all at once with no problem. It also has superior safety features built into the design.One thing to remember - with a capable unit like this, it is important to use cables that can support high rates of charging, or you won't get the full benefits. Also it is best to use short 6" cables to eliminate clutter.The holding slots are built-in which makes the unit easy to transport and sturdy. The only complaint I can imagine is that the slots are slightly tight for Ipads with certain covers. This unit is so superior to others in every other respect however, I can't even take off one star.

A real problem solver! I work in app development and have quite a few smartphones and tablets laying around for testing purposes, so I’m always in need of charging docks.Before I could only find docks with adjustable plastic dividers, which my kitten has started to break as she’s started to explore my desk top. She finally broke enough dividers that I had to get new docks. I saw that these fit up to ten devices each, and did not have the plastic dividers, so I was sold!I was even more impressed when I saw that they simply plug in. No huge, clunky multi cable system needed for these to work like my previous docks. I also like the low profile design. It doesn’t take up as much room as the old docks, yet hold even more devices.Lastly, smartphones with cases fit as long as you don’t have a super clunky, thick case on them. I was slightly worried after reading other reviews that devices with cases wouldn’t fit, but one of my devices has an Otterbox case with a built in Pop Socket, and it fits with the Pop Socket closed.A+ product for my purposes!

I can say my desk is at least a tad more orginized. Reduced a dozen USB charger cords 120V plugs. Works well and chargers my iPhone quickly.

While it has ten ports, it can’t hold devices unless the covers are removed. In order to fit ten holders on this device, each slot was narrowed so that it will only hold a device without a cover. I don’t find it practical to have to remove my device’s cover every time i want to charge it. I would have preferred half as many slots that were twice as wide.

I bought this device to hold several older, small tablets and some older cellular phones. Five of the USB ports are connected to USB-C cables and five ports are connected to USB-micro cables. I am perfectly pleased with every aspect of this device.
