Men's 577 V1 Lace-up

I’ve been wearing these New Balance 577 V1 shoes daily for a few weeks now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Right out of the box, they felt solid and supportive, and after just a short break-in period (a day or two), they molded perfectly to my feet. The cushioning is excellent, especially if you’re on your feet all day — whether for work, walking, or casual wear. The leather upper looks clean and professional, and the all-black design is easy to match with any outfit. Plus, they’re incredibly durable — I can tell they’re going to last a long time. These are my go to shoe. They are very comfortable, and yet "stylish" enough to look professional.

The New Balance Men's MW577 Walking Shoes are a reliable pair of shoes. I purchased them about three weeks ago, and they are holding up well. As someone who purchases a new pair of shoes roughly every six months due to cheap mesh material, these New Balances are made with nice leather that you can tell is going to last for many years. The shoes themselves break in pretty easily, which is a good thing for people who are on their feet all day. I ordered my pair in a wide, and they fit very nicely. In terms of comfort, the shoes are wonderful for letting your toes breathe, but when it comes to the rubber soles, they are already somewhat flat. I personally wish these soles were a better material, such as memory foam. But keep in mind you may need to replace the soles. Lastly, for the design, the black leather is very nice, and is an easy to clean! My only complaint with the design is the huge New Balance Logo on the back of the shoes as shown in the picture above.

I bought the New Balance 577 V1 Lace‑up Shoes in Black (11.5 X‑Wide) as a gift for my father, and they turned out to be absolutely perfect. He’s always needed extra‑wide shoes for comfort, and this pair fits him better than anything he’s worn in years. The cushioning and support are excellent — he mentioned right away how much easier they make walking and standing for long periods. The leather feels durable, the design is classic, and the overall build quality is exactly what you expect from New Balance. These shoes have quickly become his everyday pair, and he’s already talking about getting another color. If you’re shopping for someone who needs comfort, stability, and a true X‑wide fit, this is a fantastic choice.

These shoes are the correct length, leather upper (confirmed on New Balance website despite one recent reviewer's comment...), and the 4E have more width/volume for the balls of my feet / forefoot / instep than other New Balance 4E shoes that I've recently tried. Absolutely love them for a bit of casual wear in the office. Thanks!

Overall, the shoes are ok comfort wise but if you're going to try to sneak up on someone, forget it. These shoes have to be the squeakiest shoes I've ever owned. I still wear them but they are soo loud! Jmo

These shoes work great. I have a pair from 2017 and they still fit and dont have a lot of degradation yet I wore them a lot. My wife has a good nose and she says they stink. I cant smell it so I bought a new pair. These are still a great fit. They are now my # 1 shoe again. I have others but these fit after I bought a size D and they were too tight. The return was quick and easy. I ordered again after getting a credit. I bought the E size and they fit nicely.

I have been purchasing New Balance shoes for a very long time, and have never been disappointed. I give this shoe only one star because of its poor design. Unlike the thick, padded skin on the sole (plantar surface), the skin on the dorsum is thin and contains very little fat. The instep refers specifically to the arched part of the foot between the toes and ankle. This part experiences the most pressure from the laces and tongue of the shoe. In an effort to minimize the cost of producing this shoe, New Balance reduced the amount of material along the tongue, thereby placing more pressure from the laces on the thin skin of the upper part of the foot. Additionally, to utilize (probably) the waste, someone at New Balance decided to sew two pieces of material together rather than use a single continuous piece of tongue material. In doing so, it created a pressure ridge across the top of the foot. Coupled with the wide gap between lace holes, thus increasing the pressure of the laces that would have normally been reduced by a narrower gap, and of course, more padding in the construction of the tongue. I would have returned the shoes had I known about the flaw, but being confident of the quality of a New Balance shoe, I discarded the box and shipping container before using the shoe for the first time. My mistake! Anyone reading this review, take heed of my experience.

The shoes are comfortable and good looking, despite my shoe size, US13! One point though, the leather is quite thick and stiff, I.e. strong, and maybe needs a long breaking in duration.

Ich musste leider sehr, sehr lange warten und ziemlich viel Transportkosten zahlen (Übersee) . Aber alles in allem hatte es sich gelohnt. Ein wunderbarer Schuh mit ausgezeichneten Trageeigenschaften. Design elegant und sportlich zugleich. Da freue ich ich jedesmal hinein zuschlüpfen, ist wie eine zweite Haut!

Hermosos, cómodos. Llegaron antes del tiempo previsto. Muy bien todo. Muy recomendables.

Excellent shoe and fits great with the two e wide, Fits great on a Senior that has had hip replacement surgery twice on the same hip.
